You will play an active role across the full testing lifecycle-working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs while supporting innovation and continuous improvement.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans covering functional, integration, system, regression, and exploratory testing.\nDefine test scope, create test cases, test data, and test configurations, ensuring alignment with product requirements, design specifications, and customer expectations.\nEnsure product quality through thorough validation of software features, end-to-end workflows, and system interactions across supported platforms and environments.\nIdentify, document, analyze, troubleshoot, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution, validation, verification, and continuous product quality improvement.\nEvaluate product risks and recommend appropriate test coverage, priorities, and mitigation strategies to support release readiness and overall product quality.\nMaintain accurate test documentation, test artifacts, traceability matrices, and quality reports to support project visibility, compliance, and knowledge retention.\nEnsure a holistic quality engineering approach that considers usability, security, performance, scalability, maintainability, reliability, and interoperability.\nCollaborate with developers, product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to define test requirements, acceptance criteria, and support predictable, high-quality, and on-time product delivery.\nContribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, test automation, and quality engineering practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.\nShare technical knowledge, promote quality best practices, and mentor team members to strengthen organizational testing capabilities.\nWho You Are:\nYou set objectives to align with broader organizational goals. You step up to handle tough issues.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.\n\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in software testing, quality assurance, customer support, or a related technical role\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle practices and testing methodologies\nAbility to analyze requirements and translate them into effective test coverage\nExperience in troubleshooting systems and documenting findings clearly\nFamiliarity with Windows operating systems, networking, and database tools\nStrong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across global teams\nA problem-solving mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively\nOpenness to learning and adapting in a fast-evolving technical environment\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nKnowledge of AMS Device Manager, DeltaV, Ovation, Foundation Fieldbus (FF), Profinet, and Profibus \nExperience with test automation tools (e.g., Ranorex or similar platforms) \nExposure to virtual environments such as VMware or Hyper-V \nFamiliarity with Agile development practices and tools like Azure DevOps \nExperience testing web or cloud-based applications using platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS \nKnowledge of performance, scalability, or system-level testing\nExposure to industrial or process domains such as energy, manufacturing, or life sciences\nOur Culture & Commitment to You\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
