You will contribute to delivering high-quality solutions that support innovation and customer success while working in an inclusive, collaborative environment.\nIn This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:\nExecute assigned test cases, including functional, regression, sanity, detailed, local, and remote testing activities.\nDesign and develop new test cases based on business, functional, and technical requirements.\nPerform both black-box and white-box testing to validate application functionality and quality.\nIdentify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools.\nCreate clear and accurate test reports, test evidence, and test execution summaries.\nAnalyze test results and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.\nValidate web applications and support testing activities across multiple platforms.\nReview technical documentation and provide feedback to improve clarity, accuracy, and completeness.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance testing processes, product quality, and team effectiveness.\nSupport the adoption and development of test automation practices where applicable.\nWho You Are:\nYou persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You establish clear responsibilities and processes for monitoring work and measuring results. You design processes and procedures that allow managing from a distance.\nFor This Role, You Will Need:\nKnowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.\nStrong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.\nExperience working with XML and JSON data formats.\nUnderstanding of networking concepts and their impact on software applications.\nUnderstanding of software development processes and the software development lifecycle.\nExperience with at least one programming or scripting language; knowledge of C or Python is advantageous.\nExperience performing manual testing for web applications.\nKnowledge of black-box and white-box testing methodologies.\nStrong attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.\nEffective communication, documentation, and reporting skills.\nAbility to read, understand, and improve technical documentation.\nIntermediate written and verbal English communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:\nExperience testing mobile applications.\nExposure to test automation frameworks, tools, or scripting.\nFamiliarity with Agile software development practices.\nExperience using defect tracking and test management tools.\nUnderstanding of API testing concepts and techniques.\nAbility to contribute to process improvements and quality initiatives.\nInterest in emerging testing technologies and continuous learning.\nOur Culture & Commitment to You:\nAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
