The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality. As a key member of our team, the Foreman will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.\nResponsibilities\nLead and supervise crews performing underground wet utility installation, including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, manholes, and related infrastructure.\nRead and interpret utility plans, specifications, grades, and project layouts to ensure proper installation of underground utilities.\nCoordinate trenching, pipe installation, backfilling, testing, and tie-ins while maintaining production, safety, and quality standards.\nEnsure compliance with excavation, trench safety, and utility installation requirements.\nEnsure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality\nEnsure that all crew members comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards\nCommunicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget\nDevelop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines\nTrain crew members on safety procedures and best practices\nManage project resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectively\nIdentify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or vocational training preferred\n5+ years of experience in underground wet utility construction, including water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer installation.\nPrevious experience leading crews on underground utility projects as a Foreman, Leadman, or similar supervisory role.\nStrong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze project data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement\nExperience with government contracts and compliance is a plus\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
