This position is responsible for performing water and sewer system testing, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and assisting with project closeout activities.\nResponsibilities\nThis role is based out of Kansas City, but will require some travel to Oklahoma. \nThis employee with go around between every local job site. Great communication skills with employees and someone who is task orientated. \nPerform hydrostatic pressure testing on water mains, service lines, and related utility systems.\nConduct chlorination and dechlorination of newly installed water systems in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards.\nCollect and document water quality samples for testing and acceptance.\nPerform flushing operations of water distribution systems prior to system commissioning.\nConduct vacuum testing of manholes, structures, and associated sewer components.\nPerform low-pressure air testing of sanitary sewer lines.\nComplete mandrel testing to verify pipe installation compliance.\nRecord, maintain, and submit accurate testing results and project documentation.\nIdentify deficiencies and communicate corrective actions to project personnel.\nAssist field crews with minor punch list and project closeout work as needed.\nCollaborate with project managers, superintendents, inspectors, and field personnel to ensure successful project completion.\nEnsure compliance with project specifications, company policies, safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.\nMaintain a clean and professional work environment.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nExperience in underground utility construction, utility testing, water distribution systems, or sanitary sewer systems preferred.\nKnowledge of hydrostatic testing, chlorination, water sampling, flushing operations, air testing, vacuum testing, and mandrel testing preferred.\nUnderstanding of underground utility construction methods and quality control processes.\nKnowledge of confined space safety requirements and procedures preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.\nAbility to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and testing requirements.\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills.\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record required.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a construction environment.\nEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities\nThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
