GX1 is a ground-based LiDAR scanner purpose-built for above-ground environments, delivering fast and accurate spatial capture for surveying and reality capture professionals.\nWith a rapidly growing global customer base and multiple product lines spanning hardware, desktop software, and cloud, Emesent is at an exciting inflection point - and we’re looking for people who want to help shape what comes next.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for a hands-on, detail-focused Production Assembler to join our growing team in Brisbane.\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge robotics, electronics and mapping technology. You’ll play an important role in bringing Emesent’s products to life, supporting the assembly, testing, troubleshooting and production of our world-class technology.\nThis role will suit someone with experience in a quality-driven production environment who has a keen interest in technology, innovation and practical problem-solving.\nHow you’ll contribute\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nAssembling electronic and mechanical modules into subsystems and finished products.\n\nPerforming production tasks safely, accurately and efficiently, with a strong focus on quality.\n\nFollowing detailed work instructions, procedures and production documentation.\n\nParticipating in quality assurance processes and helping maintain consistently high standards.\n\nTroubleshooting, fault finding and diagnosing product issues.\n\nSupporting PCB and product repair activities.\n\nMonitoring and adjusting production processes or equipment to improve quality and productivity.\n\nCompleting production documentation, including SOPs, manufacturing batch records, inventory and productivity reports.\n\nSupporting stock management and procurement activities.\n\nIdentifying opportunities to improve production processes and contributing to a continuous improvement culture.\n\nWhat you’ll bring\nYou’ll be someone who enjoys working with your hands, has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in producing high-quality work.\nTo succeed in this role, you’ll ideally have:\n1+ years’ experience in a production, manufacturing or assembly environment.\n\nExperience with electronic and mechanical assembly using written procedures.\n\nThe ability to read and understand technical drawings, prints and schematics.\n\nPractical electronics knowledge, including circuit fault finding and troubleshooting.\n\nExperience using electronic test equipment.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.\n\nThe ability to follow detailed test plans and prepare clear, useful test reports.\n\nConfidence using computer-based instructions, documentation, data recording and QA procedures.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage time and resources
