Our technology helps customers capture high-quality 3D data in challenging, GPS-denied environments across mining, infrastructure, surveying and emergency response.\nWe’re looking for a Quality Control Coordinator to join our Quality & Test team in Brisbane.\nThis is a hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in ensuring our products, components and customer orders meet Emesent’s high quality standards before they reach the customer.\nWhat you'll do\nYou’ll work across the full quality lifecycle, including:\nInspect incoming components and materials against drawings, specifications and engineering requirements.\nPerform in-process quality inspections during assembly and sub-assembly builds.\nComplete final QC inspections on new-build Hovermap payloads, RMA products and accessories.\nVerify product functionality, workmanship, cosmetic condition and completeness.\nPerform packing and shipping verification against customer orders and system records.\nConduct First Article Inspections (FAIs) for new or changed suppliers.\nRaise and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), particularly relating to supplied parts.\nSupport Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.\nMaintain calibration and preventive maintenance records for QC and production equipment.\nDocument rework activities and maintain accurate quality records.\nSupport ISO 9001 and Quality Management System activities, audits and corrective actions.\nWork closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics to resolve quality issues and keep products moving.\nAbout you\nYou’ll have 3+ years’ experience in quality control, inspection or QC coordination, ideally within manufacturing, electronics or technology production.\nYou’ll also bring:\nExperience with incoming, in-process and outgoing quality inspection.\nExperience with shipping/packing verification.\nCompetence using inspection equipment such as callipers, micrometers and multimeters.\nUnderstanding of AQL sampling concepts.\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.\nExperience with NCRs and corrective action processes.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented procedures.\nGood communication skills and confidence working across technical and operational teams.\nExperience using digital workflow tools such as Jira, Confluence or SharePoint.\nA friendly, practical and proactive approach with a genuine willingness to learn.\nDesirable experience\nCert IV or Diploma in Quality Management, Engineering or a related discipline.\nISO 9001 or Lead Auditor certification.\nElectronics or electro-mechanical assembly inspection experience.\nIPC workmanship standards.\nFAI, ECN or NPI processes.\nERP/inventory systems such as Fishbowl, FastFields or similar.\nInternal or external quality audit experience.\nWhy join Emesent?\nAt Emesent, you’ll be working on technology that is changing how industries capture and understand the physical world.\nYou’ll join a passionate and collaborative team building world-leading autonomous robotics and LiDAR technology, with genuine opportunities to learn and grow.\nOur benefits include:\n 9-day fortnight -
