You’ll coordinate events, employee experiences, onboarding, recognition initiatives and internal communications, while supporting the wider People & Culture team.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone who is organised, proactive and genuinely enjoys bringing people together and making the workplace a great place to be. For the right candidate, there is flexibility to consider a part-time arrangement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEvents and Culture\nBuild and maintain an events calendar covering team lunches, celebrations, town halls, all-hands, and wellbeing activities, with hybrid and remote-friendly formats\nCoordinate awareness events such as Pride Month, Movember, and R U OK? Day, including promotion and participation tracking\nSupport employee groups and interest communities with scheduling, budget, and communications\nBack up for Office Manager when she is on leave\nAnswering admin phone calls and greeting visitors\nRecognition and Employee Moments\nOrganise flowers and gifts for milestones such as a new baby or illness\nPurchase and distribute gift cards for staff awards and end-of-year gifts\nMaintain a simple record of recognition given, so it is consistent and fair across teams\nOnboarding and Social Connection\nCoordinate with HR, IT, and finance so joiner tasks are completed before day one\nPlan team socials that include remote and hybrid staff\nInternal Communications\nShare culture and events updates through Slack/Teams and newsletters\nKeep the events calendar visible and current for all staff\nPeople Team Support\nSupport ad hoc projects across the office and People functions\nProvide general People admin support as agreed with the Director People & Culture\nGather feedback after events and onboarding, and summarise themes for the People team\nSafety Training and Readiness (tracking only)\nTrack training and certification expiry for First Aid Officers, Fire Wardens, and Mental Health First Aiders\nMaintain the contact list for each role and keep it current as people join or leave\nSchedule fire and evacuation drills with the Office Manager and building management\nAbout You\nThis position will suit a proactive professional.
