This role ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards, and company policies. The Safety Coordinator conducts inspections, facilitates training, supports incident investigations, and collaborates with operational leadership to promote a safe and compliant work environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nPromote a culture of safety and accountability across all levels of the organization\nConduct routine inspections of job sites, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and tools\nIdentify hazards, document findings, and recommend corrective actions\nPerform safety audits and maintain detailed records\nPrepare reports highlighting trends and areas for improvement\nCoordinate and deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks\nRespond to workplace incidents and assist with investigations\nCollaborate with Operations to address safety concerns\nQualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nBilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)\nValid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills\nAbility to work independently and manage priorities\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of OSHA standards\nOSHA 10- or 30-Hour Certification\nCPR/First Aid Certification\nExperience in construction or landscaping environments\nProficiency in Microsoft Office/365\nPhysical Requirements\nLift up to 50 pounds\nFrequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing\nWork outdoors in varying conditions\nComfortable working at heights\nWork Schedule\nFull-time, hourly position\nMonday through Friday with possible weekends based on operational needs\n\nEnvironmental Management Inc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer.
