{"id":3158249,"url":"https://alion.io/job/emigrant-bank-facilities-director","title":"Facilities Director","company":{"id":673796,"name":"Emigrant Bank","domain":"emigrantbank.com","url":"https://alion.io/company/emigrantbank","size_band":"1001-5000","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Greenhouse","truth_index":null},"role":"Operations","role_family":"Operations","seniority":"head","employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"on_site","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["New York, United States","Madison, United States"],"countries":["US"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":135000,"max":175000,"currency":"USD","period":"year","gross":null,"usd_annual":175000},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":7,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-23T14:02:57Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-23","last_verified_at":"2026-10-26T09:14:02Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":2,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":2},"description":"Position: Facilities Director\nDepartment: Administrative Services\nEmployment Status: Full-Time, Exempt\nOffice Location: Corporate Office - Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY\n\nJob Summary:\nEmigrant Bank is seeking an experienced Facilities Director to lead the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the bank’s facilities and physical workplace environment in Midtown Manhattan.\nJob Specific Responsibilities:\nFacilities Operations and Maintenance\nOversee the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the Bank’s offices, workspaces, conference rooms, executive areas, and other facilities.\nCoordinate the maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, elevators, life-safety systems, and other building infrastructure in collaboration with building management and qualified service providers.\nConduct regular offsite visual inspections and coordinate maintenance of critical systems\nCoordinate office moves, space planning, furniture installations, renovations, and workplace modifications with minimal disruption to business operations.\nVendor and Building Management\nManage relationships with landlords, property management teams, contractors, engineers, maintenance providers, cleaning services, and other facilities vendors.\nMonitor vendor performance, service-level expectations, contract compliance, and quality of work.\nReview vendor contracts, service agreements, insurance documentation, and other required records in coordination with Procurement, Legal, and other internal stakeholders.\nSafety, Security, and Regulatory Compliance\nMaintain facilities in accordance with applicable federal, New York State, New York City, fire and life-safety, building, and workplace safety requirements.\nCoordinate required inspections, testing, permits, certifications, and corrective actions with appropriate building representatives and qualified service providers.\nSupport emergency preparedness, incident response, evacuation planning, and business continuity procedures.\nMaintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, incidents, vendor documentation, and compliance-related items.\nQualifications:\n7-10+ years of experience in facilities management, building operations, corporate real estate, or a related field, including experience in a senior or leadership capacity.\nExperience managing commercial office space in New York City strongly preferred.\nStrong working knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance, vendor management, budgeting, capital projects, and workplace safety.\nFamiliarity with New York City building and fire codes, inspection requirements, and applicable workplace safety standards.\nDemonstrated experience managing contractors, service agreements, operating expenses, and capital improvement projects.\nThe job description outlined above is considered a core list of job duties/requirements.
