You’ll support lane setups and assist with general labour, working with a diverse fleet and a supportive team with opportunities for growth. Candidates with and without First Aid Level 3 are welcome.\nAs an LCT, you’ll play a key role in keeping people safe and projects moving. Working outdoors with a skilled crew, you’ll set up and maintain traffic control, guide vehicles and pedestrians through work zones, and support site operations with precision and professionalism. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in safety, and want to make a visible impact in your community, this role is for you.\nAlthough we are a union affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nSet up, maintain, and inspect traffic control equipment in accordance with the Traffic management Plan. \nDirect traffic, pedestrians, and workers around road construction sites. \nCreate and maintain all required daily documentation per WorkSafeBC (WSBC) requirements.\nPerform other general labour duties as required. \nYour Qualifications & Skills\nSafety-conscious, effective communicator, with knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations and requirements for traffic control. \nMust hold a valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) certification\nMust have a valid Class 5 BC driver’s license with a clean driving abstract. \nMinimum 1 year of experience as an LCT.\nExperience and ability to work on both highways and municipal roadways\nAbility to operate a crash attenuator truck/TMA truck is preferred, training available for the right candidate.\nPreference to local candidates within the Fraser Valley.\nWhat We Offer\nThe chance to be part of landmark projects that shape communities across British Columbia, while building your career with a company that’s been trusted for over 85 years.
