You’ll work hands-on with a skilled crew in the field, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency every step of the way. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, tackling big challenges, and being part of projects that shape communities.\nAlthough we are a union affiliated organization, being an active member is not a prerequisite.\nYour Key Responsibilities\nSafely operate in accordance with company and WorkSafeBC standards.\nCollaborate with site supervisors and crews to meet production goals.\nOperate paving machines, ensuring the quality and smoothness of asphalt surfaces.\nWork collaboratively with the paving crew to complete projects efficiently and safely.\nMaintain a safe and clean work environment.\nYour Qualifications & Skills\nMinimum of 2 years of paving experience.\nUphold an unwavering commitment to developing a zero-injury culture. \nPositive attitude and strong work ethic.\nproven ability to work effectively and safely in a team environment.\nStrong communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project demands.\nValid Canadian driver’s license with a clean abstract.\nThis position is based in Kelowna, BC, local candidates are preferred.\nWhat We Offer\nThe chance to be part of landmark projects that shape communities across British Columbia, while building your career with a company that’s been trusted for over 85 years.
