Other duties may be assigned.\nCoordinate personal and resources to plan the workflow and capacity of the team\nResponsible for staffing (hiring and training/coaching) of the team\nAccountable for weekly reporting on both team and individual metrics (i.e. UPH, overtime, errors)\nWork with HR to address any and all employee related concerns and issues\nCommunicate with other teams to manage resources and provide interdepartmental solutions\nParticipate in ongoing process improvements studies\nDevelop and update standard operating procedures for departmental processes\nManage team’s assigned schedules and make time clock adjustments\nProvide annual evaluations on team members\nRequired Competencies:\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills (bilingual is preferred)\nHighly effective supervisory skills and techniques\nBasic working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)\nAbility to conduct basic data analysis (for projecting work and resource capacity)\nHands-on commitment to getting the job done\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nProven work experience in a warehouse environment (as lead/supervisor or above)\nMinimum Qualifications:\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills \nMinimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse and leading a large group\nComputer literate in Excel, Word and email. Experience with a WMS system\nMust work weekends\nBilingual is preferred (Spanish & English)\nA successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
