If you are passionate about creating impactful technology products and ensuring their success, we invite you to apply and to contribute to the innovation and excellence at Emirates Group.\nAssociate Technical Product Owners (ATPO) are the are the first step on the ladder of roles in the Technical Product Management Succession Path, where the focus is upon learning and development gathered via experiencing the role first hand at a team level. This may be from direct `Team Facing' Product Owner (PO) responsibilities, or by supporting Technical Product Owners (TPOs) / Technical Product Managers (TPMs) in a more complex team environment, also via the `team facing' aspect.\nThe ATPO acts as a voice of the customer/stakeholder, ensuring value is at the core of everything they do, and ensuring sufficient measurement can be achieved post delivery.Working closely with the Technical Product Managers and Technical Product Owners, the ATPO consume details of the prioritised Features, and translates them into the decomposed story definition for their teams.\n\nJob Outline:\nWorking with your team(s) to identify and capture team driven innovation ideas, consolidating across peer group for playback up to TPM community.\nResponsible for the story content, acceptance criteria definition, and end story `sign off' across team backlogs, ensuring prepared on time for future PIs, refined frequently with the entire team, and prioritised accordingly in alignment with other team backlogs.\nEnsures Technical Debt and NFRs are captured, refined, and prioritised across all sprints.\nCaptures additional BAU, Ceremony, and Spike activities, and incorporates into team backlogs, within the boundaries of available capacity.\nPrepare contribution to PI Demo, in conjuction with other applicable stakeholders.\nMaintain the quality and integrity of features within their technical and team boundaries, ensuring identification and contribution of risks and dependencies back to the Product Portfolio backlog.\nAttends Management meetings, in particular PI Planning.\nDefines metrics to measure the success and performance of prioritised work, ensuring any further BAU iterations can be proposed and prioritised accordingly within the boundaries of available capacity.\nParticipates and contributes in growing a community of Product Owners, and continuously identify opportunities for improvement and growth.\nContribute to the Portfolio Product Management Playbook and its continual evolution to help drive efficient practices and empowered teams.\nQualificationQualifications & Experience:\nDegree in Operations Research, Marketing science, Information Systems, e-Commerce or a combination of industry certification and 12+ years of relevant experience\n2+ yrs practical experience working in a role inside or outside of a Technology function, where the experience gained is suitable enough to qualify the individual to commence their career in Product Management, via the role of Associate Technical Product Owner.\nWhilst not essential, some experience of working within a Scaled Agile framework is desirable.\n\nKnowledge/skills:\nVersed with the tools for the Technical Product Management aspects of software delivery\nStrong and concise communicator\nBuilds strong relationships with peers and team members\nAppetite for building and identifying value, with a customer centric mindset\nLeadership Role - No\nSalary & benefitsJoin us in Dubai and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary and travel benefits that are exclusive to our industry, including discounts on flights and hotel stays around the world.
