You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.\nReporting to the Team Leader, the main purpose of this role is to implement a pro-active, specialised approach to the management of whole person impairment (WPI) and provide technical guidance in relation to the strategic management of WPI claims. You will be managing the end-to-end determination of WPI claims for IfNSW agencies in accordance with applicable guidelines, procedures and timeframes\nThis will be a full time, permanent position based in the Sydney or Tweed Heads office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days.\nYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES\nManage permanent impairment claims within set targets and KPIs for IfNSW agencies\nDeliver permanent impairment claim outcomes in line with Quality Measures and legislative requirements.\nProvide legal and technical support to strategically manage disputes and litigation in WPI claims\nAttend teleconferences, conciliation and arbitration hearings as required\nDemonstrate effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders as measured by feedback from key stakeholders and outcomes on claims\nSupport relationships with external legal providers and clients connected to the IfNSW business unit\nABOUT YOU\nExcellent understanding of the NSW Workers compensation legislation and the associated regulations\nStrong communication, attention to detail and time management skills are essential for this role\nUnderstanding of permanent impairment benefits and an understanding of dispute determination in the Personal Injury Commission\nAt least 12 months experience in claims management\nWHAT WE OFFER\nWe stand together as equals.
