You'll manage suppliers, contract manufacturers, packaging partners, freight, 3PL performance, inventory, and landed cost-with direct accountability for margin and customer experience.\nThis is a hands-on role with real P&L impact. You'll reduce COGS, run demand planning and S&OP, prevent inventory issues, and build the supply chain needed to support DTC, retail, Amazon, and wholesale growth.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact:\nOwn sourcing and negotiation across ingredients, manufacturing, packaging, and freight, including RFQs, pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms.\nDeliver measurable COGS savings through negotiation, alternate sourcing, packaging optimization, volume commitments, and freight consolidation.\nRun demand planning and S&OP, translating growth forecasts into purchase orders and inventory targets.\nSet safety stock and reorder policies to prevent stockouts and overstocks.\nManage 3PL performance against clear SLAs for speed, accuracy, damage rates, and cost per order.\nBuild supply chain capabilities for retail, wholesale, and Amazon, including EDI, routing guides, chargeback prevention, and inventory allocation.\nOwn inbound logistics and landed cost, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, and import documentation.\nPartner with Quality and Regulatory on supplier qualification, COAs, lot traceability, and cGMP documentation.\nImprove the systems, processes, and reporting used to plan, purchase, and track inventory.\nWe’re Excited About Your:\n3 years in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, ideally in supplements, food and beverage, beauty, or CPG.\nA record of negotiating supplier agreements and delivering quantified cost savings.\nDirect experience managing 3PLs and freight partners against SLAs and cost targets.\nStrong demand planning and inventory management skills, including forecasting, safety stock, and reorder points.\nAdvanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and comfort building practical cost and scenario models.\nHigh ownership, sound judgment, and comfort operating without a large team or established playbook.\nClear cross-functional communication with marketing, finance, product, quality, and operations.\nPractical fluency with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT.\nPay Transparency:\nWe can’t quantify everything we think you’ll love about working at Thesis, from the exciting projects you’ll work on, to the smart and humble team you’ll get to work with, and our supportive and inclusive culture.
