This designation reflects the company’s commitment to hiring and supporting active-duty and veteran employees.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Deputy Program Manager, you will act for the Program Manager in their absence and serve as the alternate contractor representative for the contract.\nYou will support day-to-day program operations, manage tier-down delegation of program responsibilities across functional leads, and provide continuity of operations across the support footprint. You will partner with the Program Manager to ensure consistent execution of service delivery commitments and compliance with all PWS requirements across approximately 13,000 personnel and 167 field sites.\nHighlights of Responsibilities:\nAct for the Program Manager in their absence with full authority to make contract-related decisions; serve as the alternate primary contractor representative to the COR.\nSupport day-to-day operational management of the program across all functional service areas.\nManage geographically dispersed staff of varying skill levels in a multi-site service delivery environment.\nApply ITIL 4 frameworks to create, maintain, and enforce staff compliance with documented practices, ensuring alignment with ISO 20000-1:2018.\nCoordinate program-level meetings, reporting cycles, and stakeholder engagements; support development of contract deliverables including IPR materials and monthly reports.\nSupport program metrics oversight including AQL monitoring, Customer Support Metrics Dashboard (CSMD) reviews, and continuous service improvement activities.\nCoordinate cross-functional issue resolution between service desk, communications support, service management, and risk management functions.\nSupport surge response planning and execution under PWS Task 16; assist Program Manager in cleared-personnel resource decisions.\nMaintain DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification currency.\nProvide tier-down delegation of program responsibilities to functional leads and ensure consistent program execution discipline.\nQualifications\nRequirements:\nShall possess a TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility (favorably adjudicated T5 or T5R; within investigation scope or currently enrolled in Continuous Evaluation/Continuous Vetting).\nActive PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.\nDoD 8570/8140 IAM Level III certification.\nITIL 4 currency for framework administration.\nDemonstrated PM or Deputy PM experience in DoD/IC enterprise IT service delivery environments.\nStrong customer service orientation and engagement with senior Government customers.\nProven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.\nDemonstrated leadership of geographically dispersed teams.\nTeam-oriented and skilled in working within a collaborative environment.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. \nMinimum eight (8) years of recent experience (within the last 15 years) managing complex projects of similar size, scope, and complexity to the contract requirements. \nMinimum eight (8) years of experience as a Program Manager in a DoD or IC environment performing in a subject area related to the contract, including program/project leadership of IT Service Delivery at an enterprise level. \nPrior similar DoD agency experience is a plus.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThis position requires the ability to perform the below essential functions:\nSitting for long periods\nStanding for long periods\nAmbulate throughout an office\nAbout Empower AI\nAll hiring and promotion decisions at Empower AI are based on merit to bring the best talent available to contribute to our firm’s overall success.
