Empower Yourself.\nThe Implementation Consultant is responsible for the successful installation of new retirement plan sales, acting as the project manager and consultant for conversion activities. The Implementation Consultant will also act as the point of contact with plan sponsors, financial advisors and third-party administrators.\nWhat you will do\nAct as the primary contact for Empower to manage the successful installation of standard/non-complex new transfer or start-up retirement plan sales\nPerform weekly conference calls on assigned sales and consult with various client contacts including plan sponsors, financial advisors, third party administrators, relationship/client service managers, regional sales directors, prior providers, payroll vendors and various internal departments with respect to the timing of conversion, outstanding items, critical tasks and overall project management\nDiscuss service agreements, contracts and product features with plan sponsors, financial advisors and third-party administrators for suitability and comprehension of administrative duties\nReview plan provisions with plans electing internal compliance services to ensure accurate restatement of retirement plan documents\nCoordinate the integration and mapping of payroll files/methods with the plan sponsor to Empower\nFacilitate the transfer of plan assets and records through written and verbal communication with prior providers, client contacts and various internal departments\nMaintain established internal deadlines and timelines associated with transfer and start-up plan activity\nProduce quality work on assigned sales through various quality assurance measures\nFollow established procedures designed to minimize market risks and gain/loss situations\nTransition plans timely from blackout release to the on-going Client Service Manager\nWork extended hours and overtime during peak seasons or high volume\nWhat you will bring\nBachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred\n1 - 2 years Implementation or related work experience\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong attention to detail required\nExcellent time management\nMust be fluent in English\nMust be available to work overnight hours\nWhat will set you apart\nProficient knowledge of various IRS codes; 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), 457(b)\nProficient knowledge of IRS/DOL reporting knowledge\nProficient regulatory compliance and plan document knowledge\nWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
