Empower Yourself.\nThe Implementation Consultant - Government is responsible for the successful installation of non-complex new retirement plans, acting as the project manager and consultant for conversion activities. You’ll also act as the point of contact with Plan Sponsors, Financial Advisors, and Third-Party Administrators.\nThis Implementation Consultant will focus on Government plans under $75MM in assets.\nWhat you will do\nLead the successful installation of standard/non-complex new transfer or start-up retirement plan sales, which includes acting as the primary contact for Empower during the conversion process\nPerform weekly conference calls on assigned sales and consults with various client contacts including plan sponsors, financial advisors, third party administrators, relationship/client service managers, regional sales directors, prior providers, payroll vendors and various internal departments with respect to the timing of conversion, outstanding items, critical tasks, and overall project management\nDiscuss service agreements, contracts and product features with plan sponsors, financial advisors and third-party administrators for suitability and comprehension of administrative duties\nReview plan provisions with plans electing internal compliance services to ensure accurate restatement of retirement plan documents\nCoordinate the integration and mapping of payroll files/methods with the plan sponsor to Empower\nFacilitate the transfer of plan assets and records though written and verbal communication with prior providers, client contacts and various internal departments\nWhat you will bring\nBachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred\n1 - 2 years implementation/plan conversion or related retirement plan operations work experience required\nProficient knowledge of various IRS codes including 401(k), 403(b), 401(a), and 457(b)\nProficient knowledge of IRS/DOL reporting knowledge\nProficient regulatory compliance and plan document knowledge\nStrong attention to detail required\nWhat will set you apart\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent time management\nWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
