The Data Analyst will provide standard and custom reporting, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and systems support to help drive sales effectiveness, operational efficiency, and business insights. This role will partner with management and cross-functional stakeholders to execute initiatives, enhance systems and reporting, maintain data integrity, analyze sales and operational performance, and support requests from across the business.
What you will do:
- Participate in the planning and execution of new initiatives impacting multiple lines of business within Empower.
- Execute the day-to-day flow of requests from all areas of the business.
- Manage data governance to help ensure integrity and accuracy within systems.
- Create and modify reporting and dashboards for the sales team.
- Provide analytical and ad hoc reporting to sales and business leadership.
- Act as a liaison between sales stakeholders and systems development, product development, marketing, and training organizations where necessary.
- Build and manage models to analyze, report, and present sales and operations data related to pipeline, forecasting, and overall sales productivity.
- Identify emerging industry and technology practices that can improve processes and help solve business problems.
- Conduct analyses, including cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and data and user segmentation, to uncover insights about business processes.
- Contribute to the development and reporting of sales and financial KPIs, CBDs, and trends used to run the business.
- Coordinate operational needs to support special initiatives and new hire onboarding.
- Support sales and business teams in building business cases.
What you will bring:
- 4-6 years of financial or sales analysis experience in sales operations or finance.
- 3-5 years of SFA and CRM administration or business systems analyst experience.
- 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce.com.
- Knowledge or experience with SQL, Java, SAS, Hadoop, and APEX.
- Understanding of data warehouses, business intelligence, and data tools and technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, solve problems, and produce results.
- Strong quantitative and analytical aptitude.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter who can work independently and follow through when working with colleagues.
- Ability to collaborate and work on cross-functional teams, especially with Sales, IT, and Finance.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Salesforce.com Administrator certification.

Base Salary Range
$65,600.00 - $92,675.00The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
