They are expected to contribute to development standards, reusable components, and best practices across the organization's digital platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\nApplication Development\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain responsive, accessible, and maintainable web applications and supporting backend services.\n\nBuild modern user interfaces using JavaScript frameworks and component-based architectures.\n\nDevelop backend services using Java and Spring Boot to support Single Page Applications and external integrations.\n\nEnsure applications are performant, secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architectural standards.\n\nDevelop and maintain RESTful APIs and service interfaces.\n\nTechnical Standards & Quality\nWrite well-structured, testable, and efficient code following agreed coding standards and best practices.\n\nParticipate in code reviews, PR reviews, and continuous improvement of code quality.\n\nDefine and contribute to shared frameworks, reusable components, and development standards.\n\nEnsure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including accessibility (WCAG) compliance.\n\nDelivery & Collaboration\nContribute across all phases of the development lifecycle, from design through build, test, and release.\n\nWork closely with Business Analysts, QA, Architects, and other developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.\n\nSupport testing activities through unit testing and end-to-end testing.\n\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.\n\nProvide guidance and mentoring to junior developers as required.\n\nOperations & DevOps\nSupport CI/CD pipelines and automated build processes.\n\nAssist with diagnosing and resolving production and non-production issues.\n\nContribute to release preparation and ongoing application support.\n\nWork within cloud-based and containerised deployment environments.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nEducation & Experience\nUniversity or college education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n\n3-5 years of professional software development experience across front-end and backend technologies.\n\nFront-End Skills\nStrong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.\n\nExperience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue, React).\n\nStrong experience with responsive UI design using SASS, LESS, and modern CSS layout techniques (e.g. CSS Grid).\n\nSolid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and client-side debugging tools.\n\nExperience building accessible applications compliant with WCAG guidelines.\n\nBackend & Integration Skills\nProven experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.\n\nExperience designing and building Microservices and RESTful APIs.\n\nExperience in Cloud technology -AWS\n\nExposer is Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS),Docker, Kafka ,Swagger\n\nStrong understanding of modular and service-based architectures.\n\nExperience integrating backend services with front-end applications.\n\nData & Persistence\nWorking knowledge of MongoDB.\n\nFamiliarity with other NoSQL and relational databases.\n\nTooling & DevOps\nStrong working knowledge of Git or similar version control systems.\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, Docker, GitLab, or equivalent.\n\nExposure to cloud-first development and containerised environments (e.g. AWS-based deployments).\n\nWays of Working\nExperience working in Agile delivery environments.\n\nFamiliarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nComfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environments.\n\nDesirable Assets\nExperience contributing to shared platforms, frameworks, or component libraries.\n\nExperience mentoring junior developers or supporting development standards.\n\nKnowledge on Appian product ,Ingenium Product.\n\nExposure to large-scale enterprise digital platforms and multi-team delivery models.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
