Empower Yourself.\nThe Fees & Billing Specialist performs complex manual fee calculations, billing reconciliations, and quality control activities for client accounts with specialized billing requirements. This role supports billing accuracy, financial controls, audit readiness, operational reporting, employee training, and recordkeeping system enhancements.\nWhat You Will Do\nPerform complex manual fee and billing calculations and reconcile client accounts with specialized billing requirements.\nReview completed Great-West Connect Service Requests for accuracy, document and track errors, and update procedures to strengthen operational quality.\nTrain new and existing employees on billing products, operational processes, systems, and procedures.\nCoordinate testing and implementation activities for new products, plans, and recordkeeping system enhancements.\nReview and maintain system-generated reports supporting internal controls, audit requirements, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.\nProvide backup support for Operations Analysts and Coordinators based on business needs.\nInvestigate billing discrepancies, resolve operational issues within established procedures, and escalate exceptions as appropriate.\nComplete assigned projects and operational activities within established deadlines.\nDocument billing reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain supporting records for audit and financial control purposes.\nWhat You Will Bring\nFive years of related work experience, including two years of financial services industry experience. \nIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience with manual fee calculations, billing reconciliations, or financial operations processes.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.\nAbility to prioritize multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills, including proactive communication with employees and management.\nAbility to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and escalate exceptions appropriately.\nAbility to follow documented operating procedures and established financial controls.\nFINRA Fingerprinting required.\nWhat Will Set You Apart\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nExperience using financial services recordkeeping or billing platforms, including Great-West Connect.\nExperience supporting SOX internal controls, audit documentation, or financial reporting.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, and data reconciliation techniques.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
