Empower Yourself.\nThe Specialist Client Contribution works to resolve general payroll inquiries for both internal teams and client/vendors. Responsible for accurate and efficient processing of client’s payroll contributions. The role will serve as the payroll operations contact in providing support to the lower complexity plan sponsors. Handles basic daily communications with internal and external parties to maintain and develop solid client relationships. May participate in client meetings and/or conference calls, standard payroll requests, addressing issues within required timeframes. Position is subject to IRS, Department of Labor, FINRA and SEC regulations and requirements.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nManage all payroll activities for the large, mega, ultra mega, and not-for-profit assigned book of business whose assets value over $150,000,000.\nAccurately and efficiently process complex and custom client and vendor payroll files in accordance to client specific requirements.\nDemonstrate excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently and efficiently.\nDirect contact with clients and payroll vendors for all payroll related matters. Coordinate conference calls and meetings to consult and assist the client with payroll questions.\nQuality control by reviewing peer’s work.\nMaintain departmental established productivity and quality goals.\nIndependently research, analyze and process client or technical payroll issues and projects to resolution in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.\nProactively follow up on outstanding issues with internal and external clients.\nPerform review of data and activity to avoid errors and communicate internally and externally the root cause and resolution.\nManage updates to payroll processing documentation for specific clients.\nDevelops extensive job knowledge by applying written procedures, special handling, plan bulletins, and plan level set up rules. \nPoint of contact for large, mega, ultra mega, and not-for-profit Self-Service book of business to educate client and assist with any payroll concerns.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nAssociate Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field preferred, or equivalent experience.\nExperience in a cash/financial field is preferred.\nFINRA fingerprinting required.\nBasic knowledge of recordkeeping processing platforms.\nAttention to detail and the ability to maintain productivity levels are essential with the primary focus always on high levels of accuracy.\nSolid written and verbal communication skills.\nMust be detailed oriented and have analytical ability for research.\nAble to make quick and accurate assessments of general situations.\nMust have general knowledge of Microsoft Office products.\nInteracts with teams across various areas dealing with plan and participant transactions.\nNormal Office Working Conditions: this job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications of the job.The employer has the right to revise this job description at any time.You will be evaluated in part based on your performance of the responsibilities and/or tasks listed in this job description.You may be required perform other duties that are not included on this job description.The job description is not a contract for employment, and either you or the employer may terminate employment at any time, for any reason.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity.
