This is a fully remote US role on a small, global, venture-backed team, with core collaboration hours in Pacific Time.\nWhat you’ll do\nOwn features from rough idea through technical design, build, testing, deployment, and post-launch cleanup.\nBuild React front-end experiences and backend services/APIs end to end.\nDetermine how AI models and machine learning features are integrated into product experiences.\nPartner with Product and Design during planning and technical scoping.\nReview code, mentor earlier-career engineers, and raise engineering quality.\nSet technical direction, evaluate scalability, and make architecture decisions.\nMonitor and improve production performance.\nTrack AI and modern web development trends and recommend practical adoption.\nWhat we’re looking for\n4-6+ years of professional full-stack development experience with meaningful ownership.\nDeep ReactJS expertise and strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript experience in production applications.\nExperience owning services, APIs, and integrations end to end.\nProduction experience integrating AI models, LLMs, AI APIs, or machine learning features.\nTechnical decision-making experience and a track record of mentoring or reviewing engineers’ work.\nFamiliarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines.\nNice to have\nSelf-hosted VPS or deployment/DevOps ownership.\nExperience publishing or maintaining private npm or GitHub packages.\nStartup or high-growth company experience.\nCompensation and location\nThe base salary range for this role is USD 145,000-165,000.
