This position works closely with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, IT, and other stakeholders to improve safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and cost.\nThe Manufacturing Engineer will identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve manufacturing systems, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and implement sustainable solutions using Lean Manufacturing and 6S principles.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, implement, and support manufacturing automation and process-control solutions.\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual, repetitive, or non-value-added processes.\nSupport PLCs, HMIs, sensors, robotics, vision systems, and other automated equipment.\nIntegrate manufacturing equipment with ERP, MES, data collection, and other production systems.\nTroubleshoot system, equipment, and process issues and implement corrective actions.\nSupport equipment startups, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications.\nDevelop and maintain system documentation, equipment standards, and operating procedures.\nAnalyze manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, throughput, efficiency, and cost.\nUse Lean Manufacturing, 6S, standard work, root-cause analysis, and continuous-improvement methodologies.\nIdentify and eliminate waste, bottlenecks, downtime, and process variation.\nDevelop and implement process improvements using data and manufacturing metrics.\nEstablish process capability, cycle-time standards, and performance requirements.\nSupport capital projects and equipment improvement initiatives.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.\n3-5 years of manufacturing, engineering, automation, controls, or systems experience; internships/co-op experience may be considered.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, process documentation, and equipment manuals.\nDevelop sustainable processes and standard work.\nSupport the culture of Lean Manufacturing, 6S, continuous improvement, and employee development.\nRequired Skills and Competencies\nExperience with PLCs, HMIs, robotics, machine vision, sensors, or industrial controls.\nExperience with manufacturing systems such as MES, ERP, SCADA, or production data-collection systems.\nExperience with SQL, Power BI, Python, or other data-analysis tools.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 6S, Kaizen, and continuous-improvement methodologies.\nExperience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software.\nExperience with industrial networking and communication protocols.\nProject management or automation implementation experience.\nEnvironment:\nPrimarily works in a manufacturing/industrial environment with time spent on the production floor.\nMay be required to work around manufacturing equipment, machinery, noise, heat, and other industrial conditions.\nMust follow all required PPE, safety, and facility procedures.\nOccasional travel may be required for equipment suppliers, training, installations, or other business
