The Planner will play a critical role in coordinating and optimizing manufacturing schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources, and meeting production deadlines. If you have a passion for planning, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to our manufacturing success and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis is a full-time, on-site role based in our Attleboro, MA facility\nPay Range: $80k to $95k\nPosition Summary:\nResponsible for the production planning, scheduling, material requirements, and inventory activities to ensure materials and production orders are available to meet customer requirements. Works closely with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Production, Customer Service, and Engineering while developing knowledge of planning systems, processes, and manufacturing operations.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist with developing and maintaining production schedules based on customer demand, available capacity, material availability, and production priorities.\nMonitor production orders and communicate potential delays or shortages to the appropriate departments.\nAssist in determining material requirements from engineering information, production schedules, and customer demand.\nCoordinate material availability with Purchasing, Production, Customer Support, and Engineering.\nMaintain accurate planning records and monitor inventory levels, material usage, and replenishment requirements.\nAssist with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other documentation needed to support material requirements.\nMonitor on-time delivery, inventory levels, and production performance against established goals.\nIdentify potential material shortages, excess inventory, slow-moving inventory, and scheduling issues and escalate concerns as appropriate.\nCommunicate planning requirements and schedule changes to Operations and provide status updates to Customer Support and other stakeholders.\nMaintain accurate data in the MRP/ERP system and develop proficiency in planning tools and processes.\nSupport continuous improvement activities focused on reducing inventory, improving flow, eliminating waste, and increasing on-time delivery.\nDevelop production plan based on customer forecast and manufacturing capacity. Ensure the timely completion of orders to meet customer requirements.
