Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be a vital component of our product and customer delivery engineering teams. You will produce test artifacts in accordance with our QA practices and standards. We will provide you with the necessary guidance and resources to help you succeed in this role, while also allowing you to put your stamp on our process.\nYou will be responsible for the design and execution of tests on product features and bug fixes identified in sprints before release, to help ensure the delivery of quality across our products. The position is ideal for a self-starter who is inquisitive, and analytical with a passion for quality.\nAs you develop in the role, there will be opportunities to gain exposure to technical tasks involving test environment setup/management, database table/records manipulation, as well as test automation.\nYou will assist in mentoring new joiner QA engineers, as required.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nAnalyse requirements and other relevant references in relation to testing of features and bug fixes.\n\nPrioritise testing of all new features and changes, including bug fixes before releasing to production.\n\nSystem testing on an ongoing basis to check for errors or bugs not picked up in previous cycles.\n\nPrompt reporting and triaging of bugs, and monitoring through to resolution.\n\nInitiative to propose improvements to the system and anything that would benefit the user experience.\n\nProactively collaborate with the engineering team and others (e.g. professional services, user experience team, etc.) as appropriate, to align test expectations.\n\nBe present at the daily stand-ups and other agile ceremonies.\n\nContinuously look for ways to improve our testing processes and provide suggestions to the wider team to prevent bugs from occurring in the first place.\n\nHelping to implement greater test coverage with clear repeatable test cases.\n\nCarry out different types of test such as but not limited to functional, regression, UI, backend(e.g. API, DB), as well as automated, as deemed appropriate.\n\nProvide test progress updates in a timely manner.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)\nUnderstanding of industry recognised test processes and standards (e.g. ISTQB, ISO, RST, CSTE, MoT).\n\nUnderstanding of SDLC (e.g. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps) and test types (e.g. sanity, system, integration, regression).\n\nFamiliarity with test management tools (e.g ADO, JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, Quality Center, Linear).\n\nAbility to design and plan tests.\n\nAbility to organise, maintain, and manipulate test data.\n\nPossess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and can interact with a wide range of stakeholders to attain results.\n\nComfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively.\n\nAbility to prioritise and meet deadlines.\n\nConscientious, self-motivated, and goal-orientated.\n\nExcellent attention to detail.\n\nEager to learn new skills and improve.\n\nRequired Education and Experience\n2+ years of software testing experience.\n\nBroad testing experience touching functional, system, usability, regression.\n\nExperience in various testing techniques such as static, black box, and white box\n\nFamiliarity with database concepts and SQL query.\n\nExperience in API testing.\n\nCan understand system architecture documentations and/or diagrams\n\nFamiliarity with various tech stacks such as C#, JavaScpript, HTML, CSS.\n\nTest automation exposure\n\nPreferred Education and Experience\nTesting certifications or bootcamp training (e.g. ISTQB, RST, MoT).\n\nTest automation experience (e.g. Selenium, Playwright, UFT, RFT, Cypress, Tosca)\n\nERP system testing (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Infor, D365 FinOps).\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD
