FastAPI.\nBuild and maintain integrations with third-party banking systems, APIs, and external service providers.\nDevelop scripts and automation to improve implementation efficiency and reduce manual effort.\nInvestigate technical issues across application, API, database, integration, and configuration layers.\nCustomer Implementation:\nParticipate in product walkthroughs, configuration, integration, testing, and go-live activities.\nUnderstand customer workflows and translate them into platform configurations and technical specifications.\nWork with customer technical teams to troubleshoot API, integration, data, and environment-related issues.\nSupport System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production readiness, and go-live.\nClearly communicate technical concepts, dependencies, risks, and resolutions to both technical and business stakeholders.\nProgressively take ownership of customer-facing technical discussions and implementation workstreams.\nEngineering Practices:\nUse Git and GitHub for source control, branching, code reviews, pull requests, and collaborative development.\nUse VS Code as the primary development environment.\nFollow sound software-engineering practices around maintainability, testing, documentation, and code quality.\nReview existing codebases, debug complex issues, and contribute improvements to shared platform components.\nWork closely with core engineering teams to distinguish customer-specific requirements from reusable product capabilities.\nAI-Assisted Development:\nUse modern AI-assisted development tools as part of the engineering workflow.\nApply AI effectively for debugging, refactoring, test creation, documentation, investigation, and development acceleration.\nValidate AI-generated output and apply engineering judgment rather than relying on generated code without review.\nIdentify opportunities where AI can improve implementation productivity and solution quality.\nRequirements:\nRequired Technical Skills:\nCandidates should have strong hands-on experience with:\nPython\nFastAPI\nPostgreSQL\nREST APIs and API integrations\nSQL and relational data models\nGit and GitHub\nVS Code\nDebugging and troubleshooting distributed or API-driven applications\nWorking with JSON, HTTP, authentication, and integration patterns\nAI-assisted software development tools and workflows\nWorking knowledge of the following is expected:\nReact / JavaScript / TypeScript\nWeb application architecture\nCloud-based application environments\nAPI authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, API keys, and tokens\nLogging, error handling, and production troubleshooting\nPreferred Domain Knowledge\nPrior experience in banking or financial technology is advantageous but not mandatory.\nExperience or familiarity with any of the following will be considered a strong plus:\nBanking and financial services\nLoan Origination Systems (LOS)\nDigital Account Opening (DAO)\nConsumer or business lending\nDeposit account opening\nBanking APIs and core banking integrations\nKYC / KYB / AML systems\nCredit bureaus and credit decisioning\nPayment, funding, document, or e-signature integrations\nCandidates without banking experience should demonstrate the ability and willingness to quickly learn complex business domains.\nGood to Have:\nThe ideal candidate is someone who:\nEnjoys solving problems.\nIs comfortable moving between code, APIs, databases, product configuration, and customer discussions.\nCan understand both the business requirement and the underlying technical implementation.\nTakes ownership of problems through resolution rather than working only within narrowly defined tasks.\nCan work independently in a distributed remote environment.\nIs comfortable learning unfamiliar systems and technologies quickly.\nCommunicates clearly and professionally.\nCan explain technical issues to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.\nHas strong attention to detail, particularly when working with production systems.\nIs comfortable working in a fast-moving product and implementation environment.\nEducation:\nB. E., B.
