• We are seeking a seasoned Technical Architect with over 15 years of industry experience to serve as the ultimate technical authority within our Application Support department. You will be responsible for the stability and performance of Enactor’s mission-critical distributed POS and retail applications.
• This is a high-impact role requiring a rare blend of Java development expertise, database performance engineering and leadership. You will not only resolve the most complex issues but also validate technical solutions, perform code reviews and provide the technical direction needed to keep global retail operations running 24/7.
• 15+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, and enterprise application development
• Strong hands-on background in Java technologies with deep involvement in both coding and solution design stages
• Experienced in handling P1/P2 production incidents and critical support situations
• Flexible with working hours and available during emergencies or high-priority production issues
• Looking for a highly hands-on individual who can independently troubleshoot and resolve issues without heavy reliance on team members

Technical Skills -

• Java Performance Engineering: Extensive experience in Java programming. You must be able to troubleshoot at the code level, analyze heap/thread dumps and resolve complex memory leaks or concurrency issues.
• Java EE (J2EE) - Advanced server-side and network troubleshooting within Java EE (J2EE) application servers.
• XML - Experience of processing/marshaling XML files.
• Advanced Database Troubleshooting:
• MariaDB: Expert knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization and resolving complex locking/deadlock issues.
• Microsoft SQL Server: Deep proficiency in diagnosing performance bottlenecks and execution plans for clients on Microsoft stacks.
• Container Orchestration: Expert-level experience managing and troubleshooting Docker Swarm environments in production.
• Observability: Advanced skills in configuring and utilizing Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana for proactive system monitoring and predictive alerting will be an added advantage.
• Scripting & Automation: Mastery of Linux Shell, Windows PowerShell or Python to automate repetitive support tasks and system recovery procedures.

• ITIL Process Authority: Mastery of Change, Incident, and Problem Management to ensure we meet or exceed our SLA/SLO/SLI commitments.
