Working with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure our facilities meet the highest standards for availability, resiliency, safety, and performance.\nIf you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges and driving continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply today. #Joinourteamcorp\nWhat You Will Do:\nProvide technical expertise for the design, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise data centers, colocation facilities, and critical IT/OT infrastructure environments.\nDevelop and maintain data center standards for space, power, cooling, resiliency, rack configuration and infrastructure deployment.\nAssess capacity requirements and develop infrastructure designs, rack elevations, floor layouts and equipment deployment plans.\nProvide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise for infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, consolidations, development and application of infrastructure.\nIdentify and address critical facility risks and support incident resolution to improve infrastructure reliability, redundancy and resiliency.\nCoordinate infrastructure activities, maintenance and changes with internal stakeholders, engineering resources, vendors, contractors and service providers.\nMaintain technical documentation and support governance, audit, compliance and knowledge transfer requirements for data center infrastructure.\nWho You Are:\nPost-secondary education in Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical/Mechanical Technology, or a related technical discipline.\n4+ years of experience supporting enterprise data centers, colocation facilities, or critical technology infrastructure environments.\nStrong knowledge of electrical distribution, power requirements, load balancing and critical power systems including UPS and PDU infrastructure.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, electrical single-line diagrams and technical specifications.\nExperience with rack planning, rack-and-stack installations, equipment placement, power connectivity and structured cable management.\nStrong understanding of data center heat-load management, cooling requirements and UPS and HVAC capacity requirements.\nFamiliarity with enterprise-class compute, storage, network and infrastructure appliances and their data center requirements.\nExperience with data center capacity planning, including space, power, cooling and resiliency requirements.\nStrong troubleshooting, technical documentation, vendor coordination and project-support skills.\nAbility to collaborate effectively and communicate technical information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to perform the physical requirements of the role, including equipment handling and installation activities.\nCertified Data Centre Design Professional accreditation (CDCDP), or a directly comparable data centre design certification, is considered a strong asset.\nExperience supporting critical IT and/or OT environments are considered strong assets.\nValid driver's licence, acceptable driver's abstract and ability to travel within Canada and the United States.\nWorking Conditions:\nCombination of office, data center, colocation, and other critical facility environments.\nOccasional travel within Canada and the United States to support infrastructure projects, facility assessments, and operational activities.\nPeriodic exposure to noise, temperature variations and active mechanical and electrical equipment.\nMay require after-hours support for planned maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, emergency response activities, or critical incidents.\nBenefits:\nA flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance and disability.\nA paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event.\nValuable retirement savings plans, including a savings plan with company stock as an investment option.\nPaid time off/vacation/sick, plus paid personal days off (depending on location), and paid holidays.\nAn Employee and Family Assistance Program.\nA Wellness Program, which focuses on supporting healthier employees by providing tools, resources, and opportunities to improve physical, mental, social, and financial well-being.\nEnbridge’s FlexWork (hybrid work model) offers eligible employees (Manager and below) the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, opt for a compressed work week schedule, or have flexible start and end times.
