In this position you will be responsible for executing all area corrosion programs, working in a team environment within the Transmission South area based in Savona, BC.\nImportant Note: This role is considered safety sensitive, and as such, you may be required to undergo various background screenings. This may include but is not limited to a driving record abstract, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing (applicable to successful external candidates only).\nWhat you will do\nKey roles include: Integrity Digs, Piping Inspection/Recoats, Cathodic Protection.\nResponsible for the servicing, reliability and integrity of the Pipeline and/or Field Services Systems.\nComplete all required safety training.\nResponsible for all area Corrosion Programs.\nTroubleshoot and monitor condition of equipment.\nDemonstrate leadership and safety with Team and contractors.\nGeneral pipeline duties and maintenance.\nBe capable of working all applicable Unifor 4960 shifts.\nPerform maintenance/operations activities.\nAbility to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.\nMust be willing to work away from home on a regular basis and be able to work overtime.\nWho you are\nYou have the following qualifications and skills:\nRequired:\nGround Disturbance Level II (or to be obtained GD2 within first 60 days)\nHold a Valid driver’s license.\nStrong focus on safety.\nBasic computer skills.\nPreferred:\nExperience with Corrosion integrity digs on hot lines.\n5+ years of Ground Disturbance Level II.\nLine Locating Certification.\nAMPP Coating Inspector Level 1.\nNDE Inspector experience.\nAMPP Welder Inspectorcertification.\nSafe Work Permit Training.\nKnowledge of Enbridge SOP’s\nExperience with pipeline integrity excavations, inspections and coating.\nWorking Conditions:\nThis role may require extended stays away from home base.\nNOTE: As this position is within the Union/Association identified above, please note that members will be given first consideration.
