We are seeking a Pipeline Integrity Engineer-in-Training I to join our team!\nIn this developmental role, you will work alongside experienced engineers and subject matter experts to assess in-line inspection data, support integrity programs, and contribute to decisions that keep Enbridge’s liquids pipeline system safe and reliable. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without requiring sponsorship from Enbridge now or in the future.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport routine in-line inspection programs and pipeline integrity assessments involving corrosion, cracking, deformation, and interacting threats using established Enbridge processes.\nReview and compare in-line inspection, nondestructive examination, pipeline attributes, operational, and integrity-dig data to identify potential concerns and evaluate inspection-tool performance.\nPerform engineering calculations and analyses, including corrosion-growth, remaining-strength, crack-fatigue, fitness-for-service, and threat-interaction evaluations, with appropriate coaching and technical review.\nUse Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, Copilot, and similar tools to organize, analyze, automate, and visualize integrity data and improve engineering workflows.\nPrepare clear calculations, technical documentation, presentations, plans, forecasts, and draft recommendations for review by qualified engineers and subject matter experts.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Risk, Mitigation, Operations, vendors, and technical specialists while progressing toward engineering competency and qualification milestones and participating in the Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) on-call rotation.\nWho You Are:\nHold a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university and are eligible for registration with APEGA.\nUnder 2 years of related professional engineering experience.\nUnderstanding of fundamental engineering principles and can assess information, recognize inconsistencies, perform calculations, and develop well-supported conclusions with guidance.\nComfortable using spreadsheets and learning tools such as Excel, Power BI, Python, SQL, MATLAB, or other data-analysis and visualization applications.\nGood communicatin skills to clearly document technical work, present findings, respond to feedback, and collaborate effectively with engineering, operational, and technical partners.\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety, integrity, inclusion, continuous learning, high-quality work, deadline management, and seeking guidance when requirements or results are unclear.\nWorking Conditions:\nOffice-based work with occasional travel (~5%) to field excavations, industry committees or conferences, and other office locations.\nParticipation in the NDE on-call support rotation for approximately three weeks per year.\nBenefits:\n A flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance, and disability.\nA paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event.\nValuable retirement savings plans, including a savings plan with company stock as an investment option.\nPaid time off/vacation/sick, plus paid personal days off (depending on location), and paid holidays.\nAn Employee and Family Assistance Program.\nA Wellness Program, which focuses on supporting healthier employees by providing tools, resources, and opportunities to improve physical, mental, social, and financial well-being.\nEnbridge’s FlexWork (hybrid work model) offers eligible employees (Manager and below) the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, opt for a compressed work week schedule, or have flexible start and end times.
