This position requires collaboration with various departments to support operational needs and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.\nIf this sounds like your next opportunity, apply now!\nWhat You Will Do:\nUnderstand and adhere to all safety procedures and code requirements.\nConsistently work in a safe, responsible manner and actively participate in safety-related programs.\nPerform work in compliance with company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies.\nActively participate as a work group team member and maintain a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees.\nComplete paperwork and reports related to equipment maintenance accurately and completely.\nResponds to equipment malfunction, physical damage and/or fire, vandalism and/or threats to properly handle emergency situations to safeguard life and property. Must be familiar with the application of relevant procedures.\nImplements all lock out/tag out procedures as they apply to the job functions to ensure personnel safety.\nCompletes reports accurately and completely and has a working knowledge of applicable local filing systems as required.\nObtains training as required to maintain qualifications.\nUtilizes proper procedures for ordering, receiving and transferring materials as well as performing physical inventory.\nReviews and interprets drawings, sketches and as-built.\nLimited independent judgment required\nConsistently work in a safe, responsible manner and actively participate in safety-related programs\nUnderstand and adhere to all safety procedures and code requirements.\nEnsures safe and reliable operations of Enbridge equipment.\nParticipates in all Safety programs.\nWho You Are:\nGeneral Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nHigh School Diploma and minimal direct training and experience.\nMust possess a valid driver’s license.\nComputer literate with working knowledge of Excel and Word.\nStrong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written\nAble to work and contribute to a team environment where inclusiveness, integrity, honesty, and openness are valued.\nProven ability to drive and perform job duties safely.\nInnovative problem solver without compromising SOPs.\nWilling to assume responsibility and take initiative to resolve issues.\nCore Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nWorking knowledge of operations used in maintenance and repair of pipelines and operational equipment.\nLevel-Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nMinimal directly relevant training and experience.\nMust demonstrate a commitment and desire to learn and advance as a Pipeline Technician.\nPrimarily field-oriented (outdoor) with specific office (indoor) functions for training, meetings, and documentation of required tasks dictated by the Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply.\nMust be able to perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions.\nMust be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, on call & standby, and travel overnight as required.\nCurrently resides or is willing to relocate within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.\nWorking Conditions:\nPrimarily based outdoors with some office duties for training, meetings, and documentation.\nMust be able to perform physically demanding activities in all weather conditions.\nMust be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, shifts, on-call & standby, respond to emergencies, and travel overnight as required.\nMust reside or be willing to relocate within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.\nPhysical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):\nBalancing, bending and stooping, climbing, crawling, carrying (up to 45 amount of pounds), grasping, kneeling, lifting (objects 45 pounds), pulling hand over hand, pushing, reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, walking, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement, grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.\nMental Requirements (Both field & office) include but are not limited to:\nAbility to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.\nBase Salary:\nBase salary ranges from $27.00 - $30.00 hourly USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
