Join us and be part of a company that is determined to make a difference in the energy sector!\nHere’s what you will do:\nEnsure the proper operation, compliance, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of such station systems as air systems, air dryer systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, gas compression, prime mover, and all other equipment necessary to maintain gas delivery through the compressor station.\n\nRecognize and react to abnormal conditions associated with duties.\n\nComplete paperwork and report related to station equipment maintenance accurately and completely.\n\nDirect, as required, other employees in performance of station equipment maintenance duties.\n\nConsistently work in a safe, responsible manner and actively participate in safely related programs.\n\nActively participate as a work group team member and maintain a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees.\n\nPerform work in compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies, such as Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.\n\nPerform all duties as assigned.\n\nWho you are:\nYou have:\nA high school diploma or equivalent.\n\nFive years of directly relevant training and experience.\n\nMust possess a valid driver’s license.\n\nMust be able to perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions.\n\nMust be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, on call & standby, and travel overnight as required.\n\nCurrently resides or is willing to relocate within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.\n\nPreferred Assets:\nPossesses the desire to learn and advance, as a Mechanical Technician.\n\nWorking knowledge of operations used in maintenance and repair of pipelines and operational equipment.\n\nStrong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience.\n\nComputer literate with working knowledge of Excel and Word.\n\nAble to work independently with little to no direction.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.\n\nAble to work and contribute to a team environment where inclusiveness, integrity, honestly and openness are valued.\n\nProven ability to drive and perform job safely.\n\nInnovative problem solver without compromising SOPs.\n\nWilling to assume responsibility and take initiative to resolve issues.\n\nWorking Conditions:\nMust be able to perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions.\n\nResidency Requirement: Must reside within 30 Miles of the assigned reporting location.\n\nMust be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, be on call (evenings and weekends)and standby, and travel overnight as required.\n\nAvailable for emergency call 24 hours a day.\n\nTravel beyond a set geography is required occasionally.\n\nOvernight travel of 10-25 days per year required.\n\nWork often required in high noise level areas and areas where vapors may be present.\n\nPhysical Requirements include but are not limited to:\nGrasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 25 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.\nMental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:\nAbility to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.\nCompany paid international relocation assistance is not offered for this role.\nAt Enbridge, we are dedicated to our core value of Inclusion.
