We are seeking a Safety Management Systems Advisor to join our team!\nIn this role, you will support and enhance Safety Management Systems, Contractor Safety Management programs, and health and safety standards across the enterprise, helping ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and business unit expectations. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without requiring sponsorship from Enbridge now or in the future.\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport Contractor Safety Management programs, including contractor evaluation processes, standards, procedures, and lifecycle management activities.\nDevelop, maintain, and improve Safety Management Systems, standards, procedures, forms, and supporting documentation across business units.\nLead and participate in stakeholder working groups to ensure health and safety requirements are effectively integrated into enterprise programs and processes.\nProvide subject matter expertise on health and safety risk management by interpreting regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and company expectations.\nManage and support Management of Change (MOC) activities related to safety standards, procedures, and system improvements while ensuring effective communication of updates.\nCollaborate with training, assurance, industrial hygiene, operations support, and emergency response teams to support compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nWho You Are:\nBachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university.\n4+ years of progressively responsible health and safety experience within the energy industry. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-year of experience is required (total 7+ years).\nKnowledgeable in Safety Management Systems and their application within complex operational environments.\nProficient in Management of Change processes and the development and maintenance of standards and procedures.\nCollaborative with strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills across multiple business functions.\nPreference for you to hold a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation or equivalent safety certification.\nWorking Conditions:\nBalance of office and field work.\nSignificant travel (up to 75%). Ability to travel throughout Canada and United States.
