In this role, you will guide third-party engineering firms, ensuring all project designs align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Enbridge’s engineering specifications. You will also collaborate closely with internal partners across Project Execution, Transmission, and Shared Services to ensure project goals are met and seamlessly integrated into final deliverables. Join our Facilities Project Engineering team today! #joinourteam\nWhat You Will Do:\nEnsures that all compressor station facilities are designed in accordance with all regulations, applicable industry codes and corporate standards\nProvide interpretations and ensure compliance to Enbridge standards and regulatory requirements\nCollaborate with project team to provide engineering expertise and solutions for design related challenges\nManages the execution of the design deliverables by a third-party engineering firm against the project budget and schedule\nReviews and approves design deliverables for example drawings, technical reports and material listing sheets\nReviews vendor materials quotations, prepares technical evaluations, and recommends to the supervisor selections based on technical merit along with price and delivery. \nReviews lessons learned from past projects and incorporates recommendations into future designs\nSupport department initiatives as required\nWho You Are:\nYou have the following:\nRequired:\nBachelor’s degree in civil engineering.\nMinimum of 6 years of experience\nKnowledgeable with regulatory and industry codes/standards for the oil and gas industry in the US\nPreferred:\nCapable of working independently, managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks accordingly\nProblem solves issues through use of standards, modification of standards and/or previous experience\nEffectively communicates technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical staff\nPE Designation\nWorking Conditions:\n80% of work is office-based working with multiple project teams\n20% of time is in the field scoping projects or supporting construction and commissioning activities\nTime sensitive deliverables\nWork requires strong computer skills typically using Microsoft Office applications\nPhysical Requirements:\nInclude but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 45 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement\nMental Requirements:\nInclude but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand sophisticated problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and connect with individuals via telephone\nSalary:\nRanges from $96,200 - $130,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.\nBenefits:\nA flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance and disability\nA paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event\nValuable retirement savings plans, including a savings plan with company stock as an investment option\nPaid time off/vacation/sick, plus paid personal days off (depending on location), and paid holidays\nAn Employee and Family Assistance Program\nA Wellness Program, which focuses on supporting healthier employees by providing tools, resources, and opportunities to improve physical, mental, social, and financial well-being\nEnbridge’s FlexWork (hybrid work model) offers eligible employees the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, opt for a compressed workweek schedule, and have flexible start and end times.
