We are seeking a Senior Data Analytics & Performance Engineer to join our team!\nIn this role, you will provide technical leadership for Power Operations’ performance data and analytics platform, designing, developing, and sustaining the Microsoft Fabric environment that supports our wind and solar fleet. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without requiring sponsorship from Enbridge now or in the future.\nWhat You Will Do:\nServe as the technical lead and subject matter expert for Power Operations’ Microsoft Fabric analytics environment, Power BI solutions, and third-party asset performance management (APM) application, establishing data modelling, calculation, reporting, and governance standards.\nDesign, develop, and enhance data pipelines, lakehouses/warehouses, semantic models, calculation logic, dashboards, reports, and APM functionality that support performance analytics across the wind and solar fleet.\nSustain and govern the analytics environment by managing data quality and integrity, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, coordinating platform and vendor releases, supporting users, and integrating new sites and technologies such as battery storage.\nPartner with Operations, Asset Management, Engineering, Finance, Commercial, TIS, and external vendors to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and prioritize enhancements across stakeholder groups.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to analysts, engineers, engineers-in-training, and co-op students, while influencing technical decisions and promoting consistent development practices.\nMonitor emerging technologies and industry practices by engaging with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), service providers, consultants, and industry peers to identify opportunities that strengthen fleet reliability, performance, and cost effectiveness.\nWho You Are:\nHold a bachelor’s degree in engineering; preferably in computer science, data science or a related field.\n7+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence, including hands-on development with Microsoft Fabric or the Azure data platform.\nStrong Power BI expertise, including semantic modelling, DAX, Power Query, dashboards and reporting, workspace governance, deployment pipelines, and row-level security, along with proficiency in SQL and Python or PySpark.\nSolid understanding of data governance, data quality management, version control such as Git, and development-to-production release practices; experience with APM applications, Supervisory Controls And Data Acquisition (SCADA) or PI Historian data, and Microsoft certifications is considered an asset.\nCollaborative: You are skilled at translating business requirements into practical technical solutions, influencing stakeholders, leading technical decisions, and mentoring others across multidisciplinary teams.\nDriven: You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator who can independently manage priorities and deliver quality results in a fast-paced environment; experience in wind, solar, battery storage, or the broader power generation industry is an asset.\nWorking Conditions:\nOffice environment.\nLimited travel (Fast-paced, deliverables-based environment with competing deadlines supporting aggressive operating reliability and cost goals.\nBenefits:\n A flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance, and disability.\nA paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event.\nValuable retirement savings plans, including a savings plan with company stock as an investment option.\nPaid time off/vacation/sick, plus paid personal days off (depending on location), and paid holidays.\nAn Employee and Family Assistance Program.\nA Wellness Program, which focuses on supporting healthier employees by providing tools, resources, and opportunities to improve physical, mental, social, and financial well-being.\nEnbridge’s FlexWork (schedule or model) offers eligible employees (Manager and below) the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays, opt for a compressed work week schedule, or have flexible start and end times.
