We are looking for a highly skilled Specialist Contracts Center to provide senior-level Supply Chain Management (SCM) contract support for complex agreements across the organization. Working closely with SCM, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help drive consistent, compliant, and efficient contracting outcomes.\nIf you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving complex business challenges, we encourage you to apply today. #Joinourteamcorp\nWhat You Will Do:\nIndependently draft, review, redline, negotiate and execute Master Agreements (excluding commercials) for direct category management areas, including, but not limited to engineering, procurement and chemicals.\nCoordinate internal input from SCM personnel, Legal, and other functional stakeholders such as Insurance, Tax and Credit to update the contract according to Enbridge guardrails.\nReview supplier redlines and prepares practical, risk-informed responses using approved templates, fallback language, and legal guidance.\nSelect appropriate contract type based on documented guidance from Legal.\nPromote consistent application of approved contract language, processes, and best practices within the SCM Contracts Center.\nDocument business decisions, Legal feedback, negotiation rationale, approved deviations, status updates, and contract records to support historical records and reporting.\nIdentify recurring contracting issues, supplier negotiation trends, template gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for master agreements, playbooks, alternate clauses, or improved intake guidance.\nEnsure compliance with Enbridge policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, including the Contracts Policy and SCM Policy.\nWho You Are:\nUniversity degree in Business, Law, Paralegal Studies, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.\nMinimum of 6 years of progressive experience in contract management, supplier contracting, or as an in-house paralegal drafting and negotiating supplier agreements, preferably within the oil and gas, energy, or construction industries.\nDemonstrated experience drafting Master Service Agreements and negotiating complex contract terms and conditions with suppliers and service providers.\nStrong understanding of contract risk allocation, including indemnification, limitation of liability, insurance, and other key contractual provisions.\nExceptional communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility across multiple business functions.\nHighly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities, multiple negotiations, and tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.\nProficient with enterprise systems and business tools such as Oracle Cloud, Icertis, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic signature platforms such as Adobe Sign.\nPreferred:\nExperience with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contracts and any other contract types are an asset.\nProfessional certifications such as World Commerce & Contracting (WCC), IACCM, Paralegal designation, or other contract management and supply chain certifications.\nExperience working within construction, oil and gas, or large-scale industrial environments.\nKnowledge of contract lifecycle management systems, including Icertis, is considered an asset.\nExperience working with both US and Canadian contracts\nWorking Conditions:\nTypical office environment with a combination of independent work and cross-functional collaboration.\nWork is deadline-driven and may involve periods of increased workload during peak sourcing, contracting, and negotiation activities.\nRequires managing multiple competing priorities, urgent requests, and stakeholder expectations while delivering high-quality contractual outcomes.\nPhysical Requirements include but are not limited to:\nGrasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.\nMental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:\nAbility to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.\nBase Salary:\nBase salary ranges from $105,000 - $125,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
