You will partner with application, infrastructure, and service management teams to embed observability into the software development lifecycle while driving automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across a complex hybrid technology landscape.\nIf you thrive in a collaborative, customer-focused environment and enjoy developing innovative solutions that create mutual value, we'd love to hear from you.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead the architecture, administration, and optimization of Enbridge's Dynatrace observability platform, ensuring scalable and consistent monitoring across on-premises, cloud, and SaaS environments.\nDrive enterprise-wide application onboarding and observability adoption by collaborating with application owners, development teams, and managed service providers.\nDesign and enhance alerting, event management, and incident integrations to improve service reliability, reduce false-positive alerts, and lower MTTI and MTTR.\nDevelop and maintain observability-as-code solutions using CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code tools.\nDefine, implement, and report on service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and key business performance metrics for critical applications.\nAct as the senior escalation point for complex monitoring and performance issues, leading root-cause analysis and driving long-term reliability improvements.\nMentor technical teams and contribute to observability governance, best practices, standards, and strategic roadmap development across the organization.\nWho You Are:\nRelated university degree or two-year technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Without a degree, 3 additional years of related experience are required.\n7+ years of directly related experience in application performance monitoring, observability, site reliability engineering (SRE), or IT operations, including significant hands-on Dynatrace experience within a large enterprise environment.\nStrong expertise in Dynatrace technologies, including OneAgent, ActiveGate, Davis AI, Smartscape, PurePath and distributed tracing, real-user and synthetic monitoring, log analytics, IAM policies, Workflows, and Dynatrace APIs.\nProven experience designing monitoring strategies, implementing observability standards, and leveraging metrics, logs, traces, SLIs, and SLOs to improve application health and performance.\nExperience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS), Kubernetes, microservices, REST APIs, ServiceNow integrations, and modern DevOps practices.\nA record of measurable results, such as lower MTTR, fewer false-positive alerts or wider monitoring coverage.\nStrong automation and scripting skills using tools such as Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.\nAdvanced experience with Dynatrace Query Language on Grail, including complex queries, dashboards and Notebooks.\nExpedience with networking and databases such as TCP/IP, DNS and load balancers;
