Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without requiring sponsorship from Enbridge now or in the future.\nWhat You Will Do:\nLead the Construction team and be accountable for all field construction activities and outcomes.\nPlans, organizes, and directs Construction Teams to deliver projects within the approved budgets, specified deadlines and in accordance with regulatory requirements.\nSupport the Project Development team by contributing to the formation of construction scope, cost estimates, spend profiles, and detailed schedules. \nEngage with Project Controls, Supply Chain Management and other internal partners and manage the relationship with the Contracted Service Providers.\nWho You Are:\nHold a related bachelor’s degree, college diploma, journey person certification, and/or a combination of related construction or operational training and/or experience.\nMinimum of 7+ years progressively responsible working experience in the pipeline and/or facilities industry. This includes a solid understanding of pipeline and/or facilities construction principles, industry standards, governmental regulations and detailed and/or project management experience. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years is required (total 10+ years).\nMust have exposure to Engineering, Construction and Field operations which include knowledge of excavation, welding, hoisting and equipment.\nFamiliar with industry codes, regulations, standards, and specifications.\nEffective leadership skills which include cultivating a collaborative, hard-working team-focused approach and inspire change in a dynamic and fast paced environment.\nRole requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire and the legal ability to cross the US and Canadian border.\nWorking Conditions:\nOffice environment with some field work.\nScheduled travel to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities (up to 40%). Ability to travel throughout Canada and United States.
