Come join us!\n\nBasic Function: The Activities Supervisor is responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences through the coordination and delivery of camp, arts, and recreation programs. This position supports Artist Cottage operations, sales, and guest service; supports and supervises Camp Coyote operations and activities; and provides sales and service support for Racket Sports and Target Sports. The Activities Supervisor promotes participation, generates program revenue, maintains operational standards, and ensures all activities are delivered in a safe, engaging, and professional manner consistent with Enchantment Resort service standards.\n\nWork Performed:\nCamp Coyote Operations, Sales, Service (45%)\nRecruit, train, schedule, and supervise Camp Counselors to meet operational demands, particularly during peak occupancy periods, holidays, and school breaks.\nLead and supervise Camp Coyote activities for children ages 4-12 in a safe, fun, educational, and caring environment when needed.\nDevelop and maintain a Camp Coyote curriculum that challenges and educates campers through recreational, outdoor (Leave No Trace), artistic, and age-appropriate learning experiences that encourage creativity, confidence, social development, and teamwork.\nCreate, implement, and continually improve camp activities, crafts, games, themed programs, and special events.\nCoordinate attendance, waivers, daily schedules, activity rotations, staffing assignments, and camper records.\nMonitor camper health, safety, behavior, and overall well-being while maintaining established staffing ratios.\nCoordinate additional staffing support when participation levels exceed established guidelines.\nTrain, mentor, and provide daily directions to Camp Counselors and on-call camp staff.\nAssist with family activities, holiday programming, seasonal events, and resort-wide recreation experiences.\n\nArtist Cottage Operations, Sales & Service (40%)\nSupport daily Artist Cottage operations, guest service, and sales initiatives.\nWelcome guests, provide studio tours, explain class offerings, and promote participation in arts programming and experiences.\nManage reservations, registrations, guest records, waivers, payments, and class bookings utilizing Flybook and Maestro software systems.\nLead art, pottery, and creative classes as qualified and operationally required.\nAssist guests throughout the creative experience to ensure a memorable and personalized visit.\nSupport pottery production through clay reclaim, trimming, bisque firing, glazing, glaze firing, packaging, and shipment of guest artwork.\nTrack and organize guest pottery and art projects through all stages of production.\nAssist in developing and maintaining class instructions, tutorials, standard operating procedures, and program materials.\nSupport workshops, exhibits, seasonal programming, holiday events, and special resort events.\nNotify the Activities Manager of equipment or maintenance issues and assist with kiln shelf preparation, kiln washing, and general studio upkeep.\nRacket Sports & Target Sports Sales & Service (15%)\nProvide sales, reservations, registration, and guest service support for Racket Sports and Target Sports programs and assist with departmental coverage during the absence of the Games Supervisor.\nManage bookings, schedule instructors, lesson reservations, waivers, participant records, and activity scheduling.\nProcess activity fees, room charges, cash, and credit card transactions according to resort procedures.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nArrive prior to scheduled programming to prepare facilities, materials, registrations, waivers, equipment, and activity spaces.\nDeliver exceptional guest service in accordance with Enchantment Resort and Forbes Travel Guide standards.\nGreeting guests, campers, families, and participants in a professional, welcoming, and engaging manner.\nPromote activities, classes, programs, events, and resort experiences to increase guest participation and departmental revenue.\nAssist guests with reservations, registrations, scheduling, waivers, participant records, activity information, and related administrative support utilizing approved resort systems.\nMaintain assigned facilities, equipment, inventory, supplies, storage areas, activity venues, and guest spaces in a clean, organized, safe, and operationally ready condition.\nMonitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs to the appropriate manager.\nConduct facility inspections and communicate maintenance concerns, equipment issues, and work-order needs.\nEnsure compliance with departmental policies, emergency procedures, safety standards, risk management practices, certifications, and required documentation.\nSupport resort-wide events, holiday programming, seasonal activities, workshops, exhibits, family events, and special projects.\nAttend required departmental meetings, safety training, and Forbes service training programs.\nMaintain familiarity with resort promotions, packages, activities, and special events.\nPrepare and post tickets.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nMinimum Requirements\nAssociate degree, college diploma, or equivalent work experience.\nMinimum two (2) years of experience in recreation, hospitality, guest services, operations, arts programming, or a related field.\nPrevious leadership, coordinator, or supervisory experience.\nStrong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced resort environment.\nSupports a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and accountability.\nCPR, First Aid, AED, and Food Handler certifications, or the ability to obtain certifications upon hire.\nAbility to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events\nPreferred Skills & Qualifications\nExperience in the arts, Camp Coyote operations, youth development, or recreation management.\nExperience working in visual arts, pottery studios, creative programming, or instructional environments.\nExperience with reservation systems and/or point-of-sale systems\nWillingness to learn luxury hospitality standards and Forbes Travel Guide service expectations.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand, walk and remain active for extended periods\nAbility to repeatedly demonstrate throwing, shooting, and targeting techniques throughout the day as needed\nAbility to Lift & carrying up to 50lbs\nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including extended sun exposure and high temperatures\nAbility
