You'll own the program plan from\narchitecture through bring-up, pre-/post- silicon validation, and customer/OEM deployment to\nsurface risks before they become blockers and keeping a hardware-coupled software org moving\nin lockstep with silicon milestones.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn end-to-end program management for embedded software workstreams: device\ndrivers, firmware, boot-loaders and board support packages for EnCharge accelerators.\nBuild and maintain integrated program schedules that align embedded software milestones\nwith chip tape-out, silicon bring-up, board bring-up, and customer/OEM delivery dates.\nPartner closely with embedded software, ASIC/hardware, platform and validation teams to\ndefine scope, sequence dependencies, and track execution against plan.\nIdentify, track, and drive resolution of cross-team risks and blockers (e.g., silicon errata\naffecting driver behavior, toolchain dependencies, host OS/driver compatibility).\nDrive silicon bring-up and platform enablement, including early firmware, boot flows,\ndevice initialization, memory management, command submission, interrupts, power\nmanagement, and hardware/software integration.\nRun the program's operating cadence: planning, standups, milestone reviews,\nretrospectives tuned to what a hardware-coupled software team actually needs, not generic\nceremony.\nDrive execution across geographically distributed engineering teams and external partners\nas needed.\nHelp build the program management function like process, tooling, and reporting.\nWhat We're Looking For\n8+ years of technical program or project management experience, with a meaningful\nportion spent on embedded software, drivers, firmware, or low-level systems software.\nDirect experience coordinating software programs tightly coupled to hardware (silicon\nbring-up, board bring-up, or similar), ideally in AI/ML accelerators, semiconductors,\nrobotics, or a related hardware-software domain.\nBackground in Linux kernel driver development processes, JTAG/lab-based debug\nworkflows, or hardware validation methodologies.\nExperience with FPGA simulation and emulator environments like Zebu, Veloce,\nPalladium.\nStrong understanding of areas such as:\noEmbedded firmware\noDevice drivers\noSoC/accelerator architecture\noMemory and DMA\noInterrupts and command queues\noBoot and initialization\noHardware/software interfaces\noPerformance and system-level debugging\nTrack record of managing complex, multi-team schedules with hard external dependencies\n(tape-out dates, partner deliverables, customer commitments) and keeping them honest.\nStrong risk management instincts - you find the thing that's going to break the schedule\ntwo months before it does.\nExcellent written and verbal communication; able to flex between engineering detail and\nexecutive summary.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with AI accelerators, GPUs, NPUs, DSPs, or other heterogeneous compute\narchitectures.\nExperience with silicon bring-up and early hardware/software co-development.\nExperience with firmware for custom accelerators or SoCs.\nExperience working across firmware, driver, compiler, and runtime teams.\nExperience with simulation/emulation environments used for pre-silicon software\ndevelopment.\nExperience with Linux kernel, embedded Linux, RTOS, or low-level systems software.\nExperience managing external engineering partners or vendors.\nEnCharge AI is an equal employment opportunity employer in the United States.\nThe salary range for this position is $200,000 to $250,000 USD per year.
