Must be polished and have a professional demeanor. Cleans, sanitizes, and disinfects all areas.\nEXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:\nDisinfecting, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, dusting assigned areas using checklists/duty list. \nDisinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counter, showers, bathtubs, patient areas, and scrubs walls; dusts clean and vacuums furniture, blinds, windows or shades, fixtures, doors, and related furnishings by using appropriate cleaning supplies. \nResponsible for maintaining the appropriate level of sanitary and cleaning supplies for assigned areas. \nMaintains assigned equipment in good working condition. \nCleans interior glass and dusts and polishes furniture. \nDisinfects and maintains ice machine and water fountains. \nAlso maintain stainless steel on water fountains, elevators, restrooms etc. Collectand remove trash from buildings each day. \nReplaces sharps containers, transports trash, andremoves empty boxes. \nPick-up and dispose of our store hazardous-regulated-infectious waste as required.\nDisinfect patient, student & staff area restrooms, vanity area, shower, and locker rooms.\nDisinfect utility rooms, waiting rooms, public restrooms keeping all in orderly condition.\nMaintain clean environment on Campus and in Campus offices by sweeping and mopping tile floors and/or vacuum carpet, dusting, light shields, base boards, ledges, and windowsills. \nThoroughly clean and disinfect high touch items such as but not limited to tabletops, desktops, chairs, exterior wash stations, handles, knobs, and light switches on an ongoing basis with disinfecting wipes. \nMonitor and restocksrestroom dispensers such as hand towels, toilet paper, hand soap and sanitary napkins. \nComplete all daily work orders as scheduled. \nParticipates in special projects and accepts new projects when assigned. \nKnows and follows all housekeeping policies and procedures. \nDemonstrate awareness of information relating to health and safety at work and always perform safely. \nWill require physical ability to bend, stoop, reach. \nRequires moderate level of verbal communication skills to interact with patients, students & staff, often under stressful situations. \nRequires technical knowledge of general & specialized cleaning procedures & products.\nMay assist with office or room special cleaning as needed Assists in project work if needed and/or assigned by department leadership. \nMay be needed for “on call” for flood relief and/or other immediate relief efforts. \nMaintain confidentiality of all materials handled within the campus and company.\nDemonstrates responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures. \nComplies with campus and departmental policies regarding the dress code. \nMust be mindful of slip, trip or fall hazards. \nMust label chemicals correctly. \nUses appropriate cleaning supplies according to departmental procedures. \nUses safe and proper cleaning procedures to prepare patient areas, and other assigned areas in a timely and efficient manner. \nKeeps housekeeping closet and equipment in area of responsibility clean and in order.\nMaintain daily records of all work performed in accordance with departmental policies and procedures (Daily checklist/duty list). \nWillingto perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis despite frequent interruptions. \nAbility to perform tasks with due consideration for patients in vicinity. \nWork under close supervision performing standardized tasks. \nReceive assignment. Assemble needed materials and supplies, load service cart and transport. \nEnhance professional growth and development through in-service and other educational training. \nMaintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the campus/ company as well as the proper release of information. \nReports any discrepancies or deficiencies to supervisor. \nOther related duties as assigned by department management deemed operationally necessary. \nRepresents Encompass in a positive manner; can follow oral instructions, is pleasant, tactful, and courteous and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, residents, and client staff. \nMust be able to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision or other employee assistance after the training period is completed and do so without injury to oneself or other individuals. \nMust be able to fully understand and complete all In-Services. \nMust clock in and out and adhere to attendance policy, consistently embodies the characteristics necessary to drive the Company's mission statement, Vision, and Core Values. \nAbility to follow oral and written instructions. \nMust be able to speak, read and write English/Spanish to communicate effectively. \nAbility to cooperate with other employees. Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis. \nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nRequires physical ability to bend, stoop, reach.
