Acts as a direct liaison between the client and staff.\nEXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES\nDirectly responsible to ensure the clients requests are assigned to personnel and completed in a timely manner daily\nSupervises work activities of cleaning personnel to ensure a clean environment\nAssigns workers their duties, and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness\nMust handle various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Mustcomply with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.\nPlans work schedule for major tasks.\nInventories stock to ensure adequate supplies. \nIssues supplies and equipment to workers. \nInvestigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and takes corrective action.\nConducts in-service training of assigned employees to explain company policies, housekeeping work procedures, and to demonstrate use and maintenance of equipment.\nAttends training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures and enhance supervisory skills.\nRecords data concerning work assignments, personnel actions, and timecards, and prepares periodic reports.\nAttends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.\nPerforms additional duties as assigned\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLSAND ABILITIES\nBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. \nKnowledge of telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. \nUse of smart phone\nAbility to send email communications\nAbility to develop field procedures\nAbility to prepare and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nMinimum of at least 2 years previous supervisory experience \nBi-lingual in English and Spanish, or Creole\nValid Florida Driver’s license\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS\nThis position demands good physical and mental health\nThe housekeeper supervisor will be required to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and work a flexible schedule.\nMust be able to move continuously during work hours\nMust be able to lift and/or carry 30 to 45 pounds\nSUPERVISION RECEIVED\nGeneral supervision is received from an account manager who confers on difficult problems and reviews completed work for quality of professional results.
