We're an ambitious team of 100+ working at the frontier of AI and have raised $60M in Series C funding from Wellington Management, CRV, Next47 and Y Combinator.\nThe role\nWe're looking for great engineers with experience building complex UIs to help build out our editor interface - the part of our product that lets users visualise and annotate their data. We handle a wide range of data modalities, including image, video, audio, text, PDFs, medical images, and data from LiDAR and other sensors in robots and autonomous vehicles.\nFor this role, we are particularly looking for engineers who are excited about technically challenging frontend work, such as rendering complex 3D/4D scenes with thousands of objects, combining data from several modalities, all while maintaining high performance in the browser.\nYou'll join us at a crucial stage of accelerated development, as part of a small, highly collaborative group where you'll be a key driver of progress on a core part of our product - operating with a high degree of autonomy and crafting performant, reliable, and maintainable solutions at speed.\nWhat you'll do\nBuild and own complex UI and editor interfaces for visualising and annotating multi-modal data\n\nRender high-performance 3D/4D scenes with thousands of objects in the browser\n\nWork across the full stack when needed, from backend services to deployment and styling\n\nTake end-to-end ownership of projects, from product and architectural decisions through to deployment, monitoring, and measuring user impact\n\nCollaborate closely with a lean, high-trust team to tackle challenging problems together\n\nTake initiative, be proactive in problem-solving, and continuously seek improvements\n\nWho we're looking for\nYou've seen and built a lot. You have personally developed and maintained multiple systems from scratch, and you know what trade-offs are involved in building reliable, performant software at speed\n\nYou want your work to have a tangible outcome for people. You're not satisfied with building products that do not see the light of day\n\nYou are a builder. You enjoy all aspects of building not only software but a complete product, and are comfortable moving across the stack when necessary.\n\nYou enjoy problem-solving and thinking from first principles, and are always ready to pick up new skills and build quickly\n\nYou're happy to tackle problems without a predefined, clear definition or obvious solution, and are excited to have autonomy to make decisions as you go\n\nYou understand that being a member of a high-performing team requires two things.
