For over two decades, we have been harnessing technology to drive meaningful change.\nBy combining world-class engineering, industry expertise and a people-centric mindset, we consult and partner with leading brands from various industries to create dynamic platforms and intelligent digital experiences that drive innovation and transform businesses.\nFrom prototype to real-world impact - be part of a global shift by doing work that matters.\n We are seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join our global legal team.\nReporting to the Head of Legal in London, you will lead negotiations on complex, high-value and strategic client contracts while supporting transactions across Endava’s global footprint.\nThis role is ideally suited to a lawyer who began their career in private practice and has since gained experience in-house, and who enjoys working closely with commercial teams on sophisticated technology transactions.\nYou will partner closely with Commercial leadership and senior stakeholders to structure transactions, balance risk with commercial objectives, and enable strategic growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the drafting and negotiation of complex commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, outsourcing arrangements, SaaS and cloud services agreements, and technology licensing arrangements.\nAct as legal lead on strategic and enterprise deals, advising on negotiation strategy, risk allocation, governance and approvals.\nPartner closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Compliance and Security teams to align legal advice with commercial objectives and delivery models.\nProvide clear, pragmatic advice to senior stakeholders on legal and commercial risk, presenting structured options and recommendations.\nDevelop and refine contract templates, playbooks and guidance to support efficient and scalable contracting.\nContribute to the evolution of legal operations, including contract lifecycle management and responsible adoption of legal technology and AI tools.\nMentor and support junior members of the legal team where appropriate.\n About You\nQualified solicitor with approximately 6-10 years’ post qualified experience.\nStrong private practice training, ideally in commercial, technology or outsourcing work at a recognised law firm.\nSubsequent in-house experience, ideally within a technology, IT services, consulting or digital business.\nProven experience negotiating complex technology and commercial contracts, particularly IT services, managed services, SaaS or digital transformation arrangements.\nStrong understanding of key contracting risk areas including intellectual property, data protection, information security and emerging technologies such as AI.\nCommercially astute and pragmatic, with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders on risk appetite and strategic trade-offs.\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment and managing multiple complex negotiations simultaneously.\nWhy This Role?\nThis is an opportunity to operate at the heart of strategic growth in a global technology services business.
