The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and CI/CD practices, with a strong focus on building, maintaining, and optimising scalable, secure, and reliable environments.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).\n\nDevelop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.\n\nBuild, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to support automated software builds, testing, and deployments.\n\nDevelop automation scripts to streamline infrastructure operations, deployment processes, and system administration tasks.\n\nImplement and maintain GitOps practices to ensure consistent, version-controlled infrastructure and application deployments.\n\nManage and support DevOps tools and technologies, including GitHub, Datadog, Nexus, HashiCorp Vault, and Docker.\n\nMonitor infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability, proactively identifying and resolving operational issues.\n\nAdminister and troubleshoot Linux and Windows environments, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.\n\nCollaborate with software engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to improve deployment efficiency and operational reliability.\n\nImplement DevOps best practices for infrastructure security, secrets management, monitoring, and continuous improvement.\n\n Qualifications & Requirements\nProven hands-on experience in a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar technical role.\n\nStrong working knowledge of AWS and GCP, including cloud infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management.\n\nPractical experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementation and maintenance.\n\nExperience developing automation scripts using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.\n\nHands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.\n\nGood understanding of GitOps principles, version control, and automated deployment practices.\n\nFamiliarity with DevOps tools and technologies, including:\nGitHub - Source code management and version control.\n\nDatadog - Infrastructure monitoring, logging, and observability.\n\nNexus - Artifact repository management.\n\nHashiCorp Vault - Secrets management and security.\n\nDocker - Containerisation and application deployment.\n\nStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.\n\nUnderstanding of cloud security, networking, infrastructure monitoring, and system reliability.\n\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\n\nGood communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional engineering teams.\n\n Discover some of the global benefits that empower our people to become the best version of themselves:\nFinance: Competitive salary package, share plan, company performance bonuses, value-based recognition awards, referral bonus; \nCareer Development: Career coaching, global career opportunities, non-linear career paths, internal development programmes for management and technical leadership;\nLearning Opportunities: Complex projects, rotations, internal tech communities, training, certifications, coaching, online learning platforms subscriptions, pass-it-on sessions, workshops, conferences;\nWork-Life Balance: Hybrid work and flexible working hours, employee assistance programme;\nHealth: Global internal wellbeing programme, access to wellbeing apps;\n Community: Global internal tech communities, hobby clubs and interest groups, inclusion and diversity programmes, events and celebrations.\nAt Endava, we’re committed to creating an open, inclusive, and respectful environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered to be their best.
