The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can design, build, and maintain scalable applications while leveraging modern AI tools to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using modern frontend frameworks (angular, react) and backend technologies.\nBuild and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support business and customer-facing applications.\nDevelop efficient, secure, and scalable database solutions, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.\nDeploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud environments, with a preference for AWS services.\nCollaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nEnsure application security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability through industry best practices.\nParticipate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development processes.\nLeverage AI-powered development tools such as Kiro (preferred), Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms to accelerate development and improve engineering effectiveness.\n Required Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n10+ years of software development experience in full stack application development.\nStrong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.\nExperience developing backend services and APIs using one or more technologies such as Node.js, .NET, Python or Go.\nSolid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, DynamoDB).\nExperience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, RDS, S3, or similar cloud technologies.\nKnowledge of software design principles, API security, authentication, and performance optimization.\nExperience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively use AI-assisted development tools and techniques as part of the software development lifecycle.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with event-driven architectures and microservices patterns.\nExperience leveraging AI to build applications and integrating AI-enabled applications, LLMs, or generative AI solutions.\nAWS Certification(s) or equivalent cloud certifications.\nSuccess in this role requires strong technical fundamentals, a continuous learning mindset, and the ability to leverage modern AI tools to deliver high-quality software efficiently.\n At Endava, we’re committed to creating an open, inclusive, and respectful environment where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered to be their best.
