This role focuses on maximizing product value by defining and prioritizing features that reduce financial crime, improve customer trust, and meet regulatory requirements. You will work closely with engineering, data science, risk, and compliance teams to deliver scalable, real-time fraud solutions.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a visionary professional who roadmap aligned with strategic business objectives\nCreate and prioritize a healthy, well-organized product backlog, ensuring all features and user stories are clearly defined with acceptance criteria\nWrite comprehensive user stories and conduct detailed requirements analysis to translate complex business needs into actionable development tasks\nDefine sprint goals and collaborate with development teams during planning activities to ensure clarity and alignment on deliverables\nConduct user journey mapping and usability testing to understand customer needs and validate product decisions with data-driven insights\nFormally accept completed work and ensure it meets quality standards and acceptance criteria before release\nManage cross-team dependencies and communicate build progress, forecasted delivery timelines, and product performance to stakeholders\nSupport product discovery activities through elaboration of features from the roadmap, conducting ROI analysis to determine approval for build\nEnsure Non-Functional Requirements are created, maintained, and tested against throughout the product lifecycle\nActively participate in agile ceremonies and scaled agile events, promoting agile values and driving continuous improvement through inspect and adapt cycles\nLeverage business systems knowledge, industry requirements, and practical implications to support informed product priorities\nAnalyze product performance metrics and KPIs to recommend data-driven solutions and approaches to the Product Manager\nOwn the product vision and roadmap for fraud detection and prevention capabilities\n\nTranslate business, risk, and regulatory requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria\n\nManage and prioritize the product backlog based on fraud risk, customer impact, and ROI\n\nCollaborate with data science teams on fraud models, rules engines, and machine-learning initiatives\n\nWork closely with engineering teams to deliver real-time and batch fraud solutions\nPartner with Risk, Compliance, AML, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory alignment\n\nDefine and monitor KPIs such as fraud loss reduction, false positives, approval rates, and customer friction\n\nSupport model lifecycle management (feature changes, monitoring, retraining, explainability)\n\nEnsure solutions comply with regulatory and data privacy requirements (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, PCI DSS)\n\n **Education:**\nBachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in Business, Information Technology, or related field\n**Required Experience:**\nOverall 10+ years experience\nProven experience in a Product Owner or similar product management role\nDemonstrated experience working within a software or product development organization\nProven track record of successfully interfacing and collaborating with cross-functional teams including development, design, and business stakeholders\nExperience working in an agile or scaled agile environment\n**Essential Skills & Knowledge:**\nProficiency in writing clear, concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria\nExpert-level backlog prioritization and management skills\nSolid understanding of user journey mapping and process mapping techniques\nExperience conducting or interpreting usability testing and user feedback\nComprehensive knowledge of agile ways of working, agile metrics, and sprint execution\nStrong understanding of compliance, governance stewardship, and regulatory requirements\nAbility to define and track success metrics and OKRs\nProficiency with work management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar platforms\nHands-on experience with collaboration tools such as Miro or equivalent\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset\nDemonstrated stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities\nProven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in FinTech or financial services\n\nHands-on experience with fraud detection and prevention systems\n\nStrong understanding of card, payment, or digital fraud (e.g., transaction fraud, account takeover, identity fraud)\n\nExperience working with data-driven products and analytics platforms\n\nSolid knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks\n\nAbility to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nStrong prioritization and decision-making skills in high-risk environments\n\n**Preferred Skills & Knowledge:**\nExperience with user research methodologies and user behavior analysis\nKnowledge of user feedback analysis and incorporation into product decisions\nUnderstanding of product strategy and strategic planning\nFamiliarity with agile metrics tools and dashboards\nExperience in financial
