This position is easily able to code, tests, debugs and documents program applications specific to their team. May be required to develop application designs, devise or modify procedures to solve system software or user problems and prepare detailed specifications. This position may be required to mentor peers and provide educational/informational sessions to improve workflows, troubleshooting or system design pertaining to their team.\nWhat you will do:\nAssist in designing and implementing scalable cloud data architectures using Snowflake and Azure.\n\nSupport the setup and configuration of Snowflake environments (warehouses, roles, resource monitors, data sharing).\n\nWork with Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Key Vault, and Azure Active Directory.\n\nCollaborate with data engineers to design and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines.\n\nHelp optimize Snowflake performance (clustering, partitioning, query optimization, warehouse sizing).\n\nAssist in implementing role-based access control (RBAC) within Snowflake and Azure.\n\nSupport data security strategies including encryption, masking, and row/column-level security.\n\nMonitor system performance and cost usage in Snowflake and Azure.\n\nSupport cost optimization strategies and resource scaling.\n\nTroubleshoot data load and performance issues.\n\nDocument architecture designs, data flows, and standards.\n\nCollaborate with enterprise architects, data engineers, BI teams, and security teams.\n\nParticipate in design reviews and contribute to architecture best practices.\n\nWhat you will need:\nEducation: 4-year college degree in computer science/information systems preferred or equivalent experience.\n\nExperience:\n\n4+ years of enterprise data warehouse industry experience\n\n2+ years of experience in cloud data engineering or cloud platform support\n\n4+ years of experience with data architecture and implementing data warehouse data marts\n\nUnique or Preferred Skills:\n\nUnderstanding of cloud networking basics (VNet, private endpoints, firewall rules)\n\nHands-on experience with:\nSnowflake (data loading, SQL development, warehouse management)\n\nMicrosoft Azure (ADF, Blob Storage, IAM concepts)\n\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps concepts\n\nInformatica Power Center/ Cloud Data Integration experience a plus\n\n4+ years of experience in writing complex SQL\n\nStrong analytical, problem solving, negotiation, issue resolution and facilitation skills are required\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication and decision-making skills\n\nExperience and understanding of data sources including 3rd party RDBMS, SQL server and Oracle\n\nExperience in QA/QC testing a plus\n\nProject management skills a plus\n\nExperience working with Research data models like OMOP/CAPriCORN a plus\n\nExperience with Business Intelligence tool like Power BI a plus\n\nFamiliarity with healthcare industry, healthcare information systems is a plus\n\nBenefits (For full time or part time positions):\nIncentive pay for select positions\n\nOpportunity for annual increases based on performance\n\nCareer Pathways to Promote Professional Growth and Development\n\nVarious Medical, Dental, Pet and Vision options\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nFree Parking\n\nWellness Program Savings Plan\n\nHealth Savings Account Options\n\nRetirement Options with Company Match\n\nPaid Time Off and Holiday Pay\n\nCommunity Involvement Opportunities\n\nEndeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, vibrant, community-connected care, serving an area of more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
