You’ll translate your curiosity and desire to help create a safe, seamless and personal healthcare experience into informative, inspiring communications and storytelling and help position the organization as a national model for community-connected healthcare. You’ll also play a key role in public relations measurement and monitoring, helping ensure teams have the latest information they need and that their focus aligns with the system’s strategy.\nWhat you will do:\nServes as a key spokesperson and liaison, conducting national, trade and local proactive and reactive media relations in support of clinical service lines and patient engagement and playing a significant role in driving external storytelling.\nEngages media and stakeholders through creating content for owned PR channels, including newsroom, social media, paid content, blogs, website and fact sheets.\nPays close attention to news and trends and regularly has feet on ground interacting with team members, patients and media to capture stories, content and feedback and proactively identify opportunities.\nAssists with PR measurement and monitoring, dashboards and PR reporting.\nAssists with messaging and development of engaging patient-facing communications, including customer messaging points, when needed, signage and emails, as well as on-site events and activations.\nAssists in communications around issues and crisis, as needed, bringing the unique lens and perspective of this role.\nWhat you will need:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field\nCertification: n/a\nExperience: Four years of experience in the public relations, journalism or communications-related field.
